I don’t think it’s a secret that Trump has won over the very racist White Nationalists, especially with David Duke coming out in big support of Trump today:
POLITICO – David Duke, a white nationalist and former Klu Klux Klan grand wizard, told his audience Wednesday that voting for anyone besides Donald Trump “is really treason to your heritage.”
“Voting for these people, voting against Donald Trump at this point, is really treason to your heritage,” Duke said on the David Duke Radio Program. BuzzFeed News first reported the comments.
“I’m not saying I endorse everything about Trump. In fact, I haven’t formally endorsed him. But I do support his candidacy, and I support voting for him as a strategic action. I hope he does everything we hope he will do.”
And let’s not forget the White Nationalists have their own Super PAC dedicated to Trump winning and are robocalling people to tell them NOT to vote Cuban:
Trump has also been retweeting a lot of these White Nationalists on Twitter:
Last week, presidential candidate Donald Trump caused a minor stir by retweeting someone with the Twitter handle @whitegenocideTM, which some saw as making explicit the connection between Trump and American white supremacists. But that’s just one data point, right? A one-off thing that could have been an intern’s mistake? Unfortunately, no: the data shows that 62 percent of the accounts Trump has retweeted recently have white-supremacist connections.

It’d be nice in the debate of someone would bring this up and ask Trump what he thinks about it. Denounce it maybe?
