BREAKING! ANOTHER EXPLOSION in Austin, Texas, TWO injured… [Updated]

It’s being reported that there were two explosions in Austin, Texas.

From ABC News:

Hours after Austin’s police chief urged the suspect in recent bombings to turn themselves in, local and federal emergency units were responding to another possible bombing in which two more people were injured, authorities and sources said.

The Austin-Travis Country EMS tweeted Sunday night that there was a “critical incident” at Dawn Song Drive in Austin. Medics were on their way for injuries to two males in their 20s with serious injuries.

Just awful. I’ll add more details as they become available.

UPDATE 1:

UPDATE 2: 10:52 PM EST

Two men in their twenties have been injured. This follows the pattern from the other bomb attacks.

It was reported that police were investigating to see if these were hate crimes, and it kinda fits, given that two of the victims were politically active. Still, it’s too early to draw any conclusions.

UPDATE 3: 10:55 PM EST

It’s not clear if it was one explosion or two yet.

UPDATE 4: 11:25 PM EST

Sounds like one explosion.

UPDATE 5: 11:43 PM EST

Austin police chief Manley addressed the media about the explosion:

There was definitely an explosion, two people were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. There is a backpack they discovered that they’re investigating to see if it has another bomb. Very few details.
