UPDATE 4: Police have captured the driver of the truck. The passenger who was in the truck during the attack has apparently been shot dead:

According to Bild.de, the terrorist is on the run:

The driver of the truck is on the run after PICTURE information.

There is a manhunt throughout Berlin for the driver, as I just heard on Fox News.

A Semi plowed into a crowd at a Christmas Market in Berlin just a few minutes ago. According to one tweet, there are no roads nearby which makes this look suspicious:

UK MIRROR – A ‘terror attack’ is feared in Berlin after a lorry reportedly ploughed through a Christmas market.

Terrified market-goers have tweeted panicked images from the scene of the incident which comes an hour after the Russian ambassador was shot dead in Ankara.

At least one man has been confirmed dead according to local media, with several more injured.

Germany’s Christmas markets have been feared as a key target for jihadis following a series of other Islamist terror attacks in Germany and elsewhere in Europe this year.
