Trump is apparently taking the advice given to him this morning on CNN by his loyal supporter and is reversing what he said yesterday in the press conference with Putin on Russian meddling in the 2016 election:
BREAKING: Trump says 'I accept' US intelligence agencies conclusions on Russian meddling.

And…
BREAKING: Trump claims he misspoke on election meddling, now says he sees no reason why it wouldn't be Russia that was responsible.

So basically a complete reversal.
Here’s more from the AP:
President Donald Trump says he meant the opposite when he said in Helsinki that he doesn’t see why Russia would have interfered in the 2016 U.S. elections.
Back at the White House on Tuesday, the president told reporters that he said he meant he doesn’t see why Russia “wouldn’t” be responsible.
He also said he accepts the American intelligence community’s conclusion that Russia interfered in the election, but he denied that his campaign had colluded in the effort.
Some of you may chalk this up to Trump just saying whatever to make people happy, and perhaps that’s what this is…or what yesterday was. But this needed to happen and it shows that Trump is, at the very least, listening to someone giving him good advice on how to fix this.
It’s a least a good place to start, but it may take a little more work to smooth this over with those in the intelligence agencies who got thrown under the bus.
UPDATE:
Ok here’s the full video of what he said. You should watch it, as he explains this mistake:
