There are two new polls out today, one from Monmouth and one from Fox News, with both polling Republican voters from July 30 to August 2 with similar sample sizes, 423 and 475 respectively.
Now I know these polls don’t matter in the long run, but they do show that right now Trump is winning big, as his lead over the GOP seems to be increasing.

Interestingly enough, Trump tops both polls at a solid 26%, with Jeb coming in second at 12-15%, and Walker 3rd with 9-11%. Cruz has 6% in one poll and 5.8% in the other, virtually the same.
So Cruz is looking better, but no one looks that great compared to Trump. But it’s very early and I’m sure that will change as the year progresses.
