Wikileaks has now released more information intended to hurt the Democrats, this time including a set of recordings of DNC officials’ voicemails:
Wikileaks put up a page containing 29 mp3 files of calls, identified by phone number, running approximately 14 minutes combined.
The release came just days after Wikileaks’ release of internal Democratic National Committee emails forced the resignation of DNC chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz and cast a pall over the whole convention.The emails showed that DNC officials had colluded to tip the presidential-primary race toward Hillary Clinton, contrary to Ms. Wasserman Schultz’s repeated insistence at the time that the DNC was remaining neutral.
In an interview with CNN, before the release of the recordings, Wikileaks founder Julian Assange had warned that there was “a lot more material” to come on the U.S. elections.
But it doesn’t seem like it was very well organized:
Listening to Wikileaks' DNC voicemails. So far:
2 calls from an angry rando;
1 woman calling for an unspecified favor, name and # unredacted— Adam Weinstein (@AdamWeinstein) July 28, 2016
Wikileaks new Trump-hack dump of DNC voicemails begins with a guy talking to his very young daughter about a visit to the zoo —grotesque.

I feel so bad for the journalists who have to actually listen to all of those DNC voicemails. #wikileaks #DNCleak #soooooboring

Wikileaks could have screened voicemails and excluded personal messages from family and children from dump but of course it didn't

One of the Wikileaks voicemails is an irate donor complaining that the "DNC is bending over backwards for Bernie"

WikiLeaks voicemails I've listened to so far are just anonymous Dems leaving messages with opinions about Sanders, or asking staff to call.

Hmm. Not terribly impressive yet. But there’s probably a lot more coming. Maybe this was designed to bring down expectations when a larger revelation is released.
