Ugh. Brit Hume couldn’t wait to pounce on Ted Cruz at the end of the debate when he was talking about how he has fought for the American people:
Ted Cruz going on about all the fights he has led in Washington. Never mentions the number of fights he won. The answer is none.

Brit Hume doesn’t get it. It’s not always about winning. I mean that would be awesome, yeah? It’s about standing up for conservative principles and fighting for this country as it is barreling towards economic catastrophe.
Also, how else would we know what Cruz stands for if he hasn’t stood? That’s also the part that those like Hume don’t get. These Republicans have given so much to Obama, including his Iran deal, that we don’t even know what they stand for anymore.
Can you really tell me that you think John Boehner is serious about repealing Obamacare? But you know who is serious about it? Ted Cruz. And we know that because of what he did in 2013.
It’s not rocket science.
