Brook Goldstein: Obama “crossed a line when he started preaching to the world about what Islam is”

I never knew all that much about Brooke Goldstein until Megyn Kelly started having her on as a regular guest and since then I’ve really come to respect her analysis of Islam and the Middle East.

What I like about her analysis last night was her point on the debate that Obama is forcing by proclaiming that the Islamic State is not Islamic.

First of all she questions his authority to even make such a proclamation, pointing out that if Obama is ever called a Muslim that those people are shouted down. So then what authority does he have to suggest what Islam is or isn’t? She argues that Obama crossed a line when he started preaching to the world about what Islam is or isn’t.

Further, she said it’s all a distraction anyway, that it doesn’t really matter what Obama says ISIS is or isn’t because Obama doesn’t have any authority over ISIS. They are using the Koran to justify their deeds and they are beheading people left and right.
