I agree with his assesment. I also believe that an uprising of conservative citizens against a tyrannical government is what Obama wants. He is looking to declare martial law and rule by decree as he impoverishes and enslaves everyone who opposes his communist dictatorship. We the People cannot sit idly by while we are stripped of our ability to defend ourselves against a tyrannical administration hell-bent on destroying the Republic.

I agree with everything Caddell says in this clip. When he mentioned Audie Murphy I wondered how many people in America today actually know anything about Audie Murphy. He was one of the bravest men to ever wear the uniform of the United States Army or any branch of our military. Obama wouldn't be fit to shine Audie Murphy's shoes.
I had a recent discussion with an American friend about Audie Murphy. I told him that he was the most decorated U.S. soldier in WWII and I went to Arlington to visit his humble gravesite to pay my respects. My friend insisted that Audie was a WWI vet. I, as a Canadian, know more about American history than many Americans I know.
You nailed it. Most Americans (especially those that are left-leaning) think history is what happened last Tuesday.
I'm not surprised. So many people are just engaged in the present and don't have an interest in our history.
I will say the last time I was at Audie Murphy's grave it seemed to be well visited and the path to the viewing spot was worn down. Maybe it's because it's so near the Tomb Of The Unknowns.

As we read this constant drum beat I hope all have noticed that the U.S. Congress has as in the past been silent on the most important issues such as obama relentless violations of the U.S. Constitution..
This man obama needs impeachment now or on the 21st of January and as we all know this man could be easily impeached for all the HIGH CRIMES of himself and his administration if the house just had leadership based on the constitutional rule of law and we also know it would never be tried in the senate thus he obama would not be removed as president but action by the house for the people "citizens" is a action that is required by the highest law of the land the U.S. Constitution and must be done to retain the separations of powers - if congress continues its disconnect from the U.S. Constitution obama and congress will be committing a crime worse then treason against the U.S.

Our decline as a free people continues its count down to its end but are the citizens of this once great country going to turn a blind eye to its death or are they going to demand it stops now..... My fear is that they will turn a blind eye because not even congress cares enough so why should they.....
Our 2nd Amendment rights were given to us by our Founding Fathers. Men, who would -at the least- would round these current politicians up to tar, feather and place in stocks. It is the blood of Patriots who have secured our freedoms. Not one bit of freedom we ever benefit from was ever free, it cost tens and thousands of American Patriot lives. I will not allow this fraud in the WH to rape and rob anymore of my rights. He has gotten away with his lawlessness in and out of America and is situating the whole Middle East to explode in war.
Do we only fight and die for other nations freedoms? Maybe it is time we fight --in many different forms--to keep our rights from being stolen. Isn't America, our heritage, our home worth ten million times more than other peoples countries? Pat has always critisized both the left and the right and seemed the voice of reason. Explosion? Maybe worse.
If Obama really issues an Executive Order outlawing assault rifles, we will have that explosion Caddell is warning about. Obama really doesn't understand what his far-left views are going to unleash on this country. But if he decides to summarily disarm the American public, in direct violation of what's left of the Constitution, then something is going to give, and it certainly will NOT be the American people.

Pat Caddell does seem to care about this country. I am not sure why he has remained a democrat. I sat across the table from a man who is a democrat and is happy that they won all branches of state government here in MN. Yet, he is angered that Obama has the gall to even suggest that he would issue an ban on our right to own any type of arms. He believes in the constitution. He even suggested I visit Rand Paul's organization.
The left in this country are going to be surprised about what is going to happen in the country, and, I fear, it will be quite soon. I dread the huge loss of blood that will be running in the streets if this keeps up.

Kudos to Pat Caddell. Have heard/listened to Pat Caddell since the Carter years. Pat is a Liberal but an American Liberal as disgusted with the Marxists/Progressives/Islamists takeover of his D Party as any and all Patriots regardless of Party should be. Over the past three years Pat has been right on the money describing this criminal Class running our Government. Some think its because of low information voters but I firmly believe many if not now a true majority of voters heads are filled with bad information, lies, lies, lies, and more lies indoctrinated and drummed in over many Decades and reinforced by a totally corrupt and criminal Media/Press and Education Department at all levels.
Caddell said that "The number of IRS agents that will be hired to enforce Obamacare is the equivalent of the size of NASA -- 18,000-20,000 new bureaucrats." That is STUNNING to think about.
Will the IRS take our guns too as they enforce health care?

Yeah, I get the feeling that the country is at a boiling point due to this "massive disconnect". It reminds me of Egypt, Iran, Greece, etc. etc. when they finally reached a tipping point and organized huge protests. I wonder, "Are we next"?
In terms of muslim brotherhood taking over, yes we are on the list. Another reason to hang on to our weapons. A disarmed population can be islamicized much easier.
10 years ago, the Moslem population of my city Toronto was almost non-existant. Today it's 5.5% and rising. I took a firearms course and purchased two guns for that very reason.

Caddell has been somewhat consistent in his criticism of his own party. He has said, on more than one occasion, that he does not recognize the current Democrat party.
What we need is more Dems like him.
What we are not seeing is Republicans standing up for Conservative ideals.
the republican party is not conservative. The establishment republicans have been, are and will be east coast, big government, liberals. They HATED Reagan, they hate us, look I have said this many times, Alan West is a true Patriot, and except for the one vote on pigford, he has held the line. What did the establishment do to him? Redrew his district so it would be difficult for him to win, and he didn't. THAT is the republican party. Look it this way, Why is it so easy for Republicans like Peter King, Dede Scozofava, etc to endorse democrats? Because they are liberal.
We need to start a TRUE Political party called the TEA party. It should NOT be lead by professional politicians, but in the party platform should state that leadership will be rotating and will only be lead by grass roots people who's aim is to elect constitution loving individuals. It should be aimed at local elections and move those people up that show they love the constitution.

My comment was - "we are not seeing Republicans stand up for Conservative ideals", which is quite different from saying "we are not seeing Republicans stand up for THEIR Conservative ideals" - simply because a large proportion of Republicans don't have Conservative ideals.
Sadly, for now, Conservatives have nowhere else to go.

Pat is an old school Democrat (now nearly extinct) that has common sense. This brings me to the same point I always marvel at. How can the majority of American citizens have zero common sense? How can people look at Obama and his Unconstitutional actions and rhetoric and then say I want to vote for more Tyranny? The average American is an uneducated idiot! Prepare for the revolution!
They don't know what's going on. I know people who are Democrats. They are good citizens they believe in family, they own guns, they home school their children. Caddell is right we agree on the basics of wanting a Constitutional government and wanting a free country for their children, even if we disagree on some things.
BUT they do now know what Obama has done or intends to do. Our politicians have had four years to tell them. Four fricking years. Our presidential candidate had a national platform to tell them. Nothing. They ridiculed and reviled Gingrich the only person who would have told what was happening.
I guarantee when push comes to shove and the truth is shown, Democrats, Republicans, Conservatives, Independents, libertarians and others will come together.
First they have to know what's happening.

Interestingly, I just listened to a Ron Paul interview from today and he is about to embark on some new projects, one of which is encouraging in some way home schooling. It is something people on all income levels can do...you don't have to be rich to home school your kids. He is also beginning a college campus speaking tour, starting on Jan 15 at Washington and Lee University in DC.
The 'No Kid Left Behind' deal is actually the 'No Kid Get's Ahead' deal.
As with any other phrase coined by a Socialist, read it and think the opposite.
Is Obama's 'Affordable Health Care' act going to be 'affordable' for instance? Of course not.

If my kids were school aged right now, I'd have them outta there so fast every loose paper in the school would follow me out the door. So, good for RP!
We home schooled our two boys for a few years. We now have two grand children and I am afraid this is going to be the way to go instead of public schools. I mean, really, what are our kids learning in school these days with the "No kid left behind" deal.
The internet is coming on line with help for homeschooling to. This is a great tool for parents that want to homeschool.
