Candy Crowley actually asks John McCain if Bergdahl any less worth saving than he was as a POW

Obama’s favorite water carrier struck again on CNN’s State of the Nation when she actually had the gall to try to compare Bergdahl’s desertion with the capture and torture of John McCain at the hands of Vietnamese communists. McCain was smart enough to avoid the trap:

Whatever you may think of McCain’s career as a Republican senator, it’s reprehensible to make a comparison between his captivity and Bergdahl’s desertion. When McCain was given the opportunity to leave the torture camp and go home in order to help his torturer’s propaganda campaign, he refused, saying he wouldn’t go unless every soldier captured before him were released as well. Meanwhile, six and possibly more soldiers died looking for Bergdahl after he walked out on them.

That Crowley would even dare ask such a question shows how little they understand or respect the military.
