Caught on VIDEO: Activists say Utah police killed 50-year-old black man for no reason

Police have released video in the case of 50 year old Patrick Harmon, who was shot and killed by police, in order to prove that they did nothing wrong.

Activists are taking it as evidence that they killed him out of racism.

So, two things. Many people don’t understand how quickly a man with a knife can stab and kill someone else – often long before someone can draw a gun.

Another thing – people often freak out when they see cops cuff a suspect that has been killed. But this is standard police procedure and it’s for good reason. Just because you take down someone doesn’t mean they’re down for the count – the handcuffs are there to make sure they don’t attack again and injure a police officer. Unfortunately many who don’t understand police procedure believe cops are just adding insult to injury, which isn’t the case at all.
