Central American LEGAL immigrant protests against illegal alien dumping in Murrieta, California

CBS gave a surprisingly reasonable report on the controversy in Murrieta over illegal immigrants being dumped into American communities. They interviewed a legal immigrant who showed compassion but understands why American just can’t take on all the poor of Central America.

Watch below:

I think she strikes the proper response:

They immediately say that you’re angry, that you’re mean, that you lack compassion. This isn’t a race issue. I’m Central American-born. As a mother I do have compassion.

Tearfully, she continued:

I feel for those women, and I hurt for those children. But as an American, it’s not okay – America does not have the capacity to be inundated.

The report continues with an illegal immigrant proponent, who tries to argue that these kids aren’t terrorists or a threat – but how does she know that? They’re running from evil drug cartels that specifically recruit young kids and teenagers. It’s absurd to act as if you know these are all innocents just because they’re young.

Finally, they have to slip in some liberal spin – the reporter actually says that both sides agree that the issue won’t be resolved until “Congress acts.” Uhm, actually, NO, that’s not what both sides say. MY side says that President Obama is abrogating his obligation to the American people by refusing to enforce the damn law.
