Chris Matthews said that conservatives are animated by hatred of Hillary and that you can see in their faces that they’re unhappy people, while liberals are animated by happiness to defeat Trump.

As you all have figured out by now, I’m not a big fan of Trump, but Matthews is being absurd here in trying to make liberals “happy” compared to mean old angry conservatives. Surveys show that conservatives are often much more happy with their lives than liberals.
AND he’s completely ignoring how hateful Bernie-believers and pro-illegal immigration extremists attacked people at Trump’s rallies. Sure, the cheeto-faced idiot challenged them to do so, but the point is still that it was out of hatred and anger that they attacked, not Matthew’s “happiness.”
