A CNN crew was caught on a hot mic making a crude joke about Trump’s plane crashing. It comes near the end of this video.

FREE BEACON – While making final preparations to go live, an off-camera voice can be heard discussing the estimated arrival time of the Trump airplane. The crew member engages with Suzanne Malveaux saying, “If I do this, it means he has landed,” before she continues, “That means his plane has crashed, no I’m kidding.”
Malveaux, the on-camera reporter, can be clearly seen smirking following the crew members comment. Malveaux, formerly the day anchor of CNN Newsroom, continues to jokingly contort her face in reaction to the comment. Shortly after the crude joke, Malveaux goes live to CNN and reports that the Trump plane is en route and soon to touch down.
I can just imagine the signal the crew person gave for Trump’s plane crashing, her arms up in the air like she’s celebrating. Of course, that’s my imagination but I suspect it’s not too far off.
The joke was a one-off, something I’d probably have made with some friends hanging around. So I’m not offended by it.
But can you imagine them making this same joke about Obama in 2008, after many in the press had just celebrated his election with tears? Heck no!
And that’s the point.
