While Scott Walker met the president when he came to Wisconsin and shook his hand, as any sitting governor should, Mary Burke, the Democrat candidate for governor, refused to meet Obama publicly but did meet with him privately. AP reporter Julie Pace said Democrats are twisting themselves into knots trying to figure out if they should or shouldn’t meet with Obama.
