CNN: OMG 18 MILLION IN TAX BREAKS FOR CHRISTIANS!

CNN is reporting that there’s controversy surrounding Ken Ham’s version of Noah’s Ark that he’s building into a Christian theme park in Kentucky.

As you watch the video, you’ll see the chyron saying repeatedly:

“Park ignites controversy over funding, hiring”

“No jobs for non-Christians at Creationist park”

“Creationist park gets 18 million in tax breaks”

Watch:

Where did they find this moron Baptist preacher?

This isn’t about Church and State. This isn’t about the state promoting or being involved with any religion. This is about economic growth, allowing a private business to keep more of their money in order to bring jobs and tourism to the area.

But that’s the angle CNN is obviously taking with this piece, suggesting that this is inappropriate clash of religion and state, where the state is funding a park where only Christians will get hired. (Yes liberals believe that tax breaks are the same as funding. I know, ridiculous!).

Despite all this, it’s a good thing Matt Bevin is the governor. He totally understands what’s really at stake here is doing what any good governor does, incentivizing businesses to bring jobs to their citizens.

Oh and I should note, for all the controversy they suggest this is generating, they sure didn’t show much of it in their segment – which makes me wonder if they are trying to generate most of the controversy themselves.
