(UPDATED)
It was a very dramatic weekend, says CNN’s Dana Bash, who is now reporting that Ivanka Trump gave her father an ultimatum, that if Lewandowski didn’t go that she could no longer help with the campaign. Bash says this was done in concert with Jared Kushner, Ivanka’s husband, who is working very hard with Paul Manafort.
She also says RNC Chair Reince Priebus was calling Trump personally last week calling for a change with Lewandowski.

Since Paul Manafort was brought onto the campaign in the primary, there’s been reports of a power struggle between Lewandowski and him.
We reported in April that Lewandowski was demoted and that Manafort would be the campaign manager.
Then came the fallout from Manafort saying that Trump was ‘playing a part’.
Then we hear stories of Lewandowski and another campaign staffer screaming at each other in the street.
And now of course Lewandowski is officially out, which makes Paul Manafort the de facto campaign manager.
All this drama is surely making Hillary Clinton ecstatic as November quickly approaches.
