CNN Reporter: We have no idea how this is going to end tonight….but no shutdown

CNN’s Dana Bash says that the most conservative Republicans and the most liberal Democrats are telling her they will avoid a shutdown. But that doesn’t meant it will be the cromnibus that will do it. If they can’t come to an agreement on that, they will do a stop-gap measure to avoid a shutdown.

But Dana Bash says what’s going on at Capitol Hill is bizarre. The White House has sent their Chief of Staff to try and get the Democrats to support a bill they support while Boehner and his team tries to rangle more Republican votes.

Bash says right now they have no idea how this is going to end.
