CNN stumped that Ted Cruz would follow the law and sign up for Obamacare

CNN has this as BREAKING NEWS on their site right now, that Ted Cruz will be signing up for Obamacare since his wife no longer has health coverage through Goldman Sachs. They are more interested in whether he will get a subsidy than to why he is signing up for the law itself:

Just as he says, Cruz is signing up for Obamacare because for one, he has no insurance now. But more importantly he doesn’t believe that Congress should be exempted from Obamacare and is against the illegal exemption that Obama gave to Congress. Cruz is taking a principled stand here. What’s good for the American people is good for Congress and he’s no different.

There are several angles they could have focused on. But what does CNN care so much about? Is Cruz getting a subsidy. Geez. They are clearly looking for a means to attack him and he refused to give them one.
