This CNN townhall on gun violence is basically a yuge Democrat rally for gun control, as evidenced by this clip where Democrat Senator Bill Nelson literally tells them that guns are killing people, and everyone applauds.

These people are making the same basic mistake that people on the right have made – they think that angry rhetoric will make up for lack of support for their policies. But the more they yell stupidly, the more that gun owners and defenders will clutch their guns. So all of this is dumb and it’s just more partisan chest thumping. If they really want to get anywhere, they have to persuade those of us who disagree, not just vilify us.
