Yesterday was a bad day for CNN. First, they blew a HUGE story – or hugely blew a story I guess – that had to be dramatically corrected.
Then, everyone in the entire world and some other planets spent the day mocking and attacking them.
Then, in preparation for the President’s rally, they ran a story featuring a quote from Raj Shah, Principal Deputy Press Secretary for President Trump. They put the quote over a picture of Raj Shah. The wrong Raj Shah. Yeah.
Press Secretary Sarah Sanders caught it and busted them. Awesomely.
.@CNN this is definitely not @RajShah45 but it is #FakeNews pic.twitter.com/tS9QBndBw0

Literal fake news. Again. For the record, THIS is the real White House Raj Shah:
The picture that CNN used was a different guy altogether.
Oh man. This is the other Raj Shah, the one who runs the Rockefeller Foundation. https://t.co/W9AO7NwkOO

That would be the former head of USAID, not the White House press aide https://t.co/5A1mxswmU1

Twitchy points out that even left-winger and former Obama White House “Public Engagement” guy, actor Kal Penn took a shot at CNN over this.
Hey @cnn our Raj Shahs don’t all look alike https://t.co/3VI8TF5hRD

OUCH. Of course, it didn’t end there. President Trump took CNN to the woodshed during his rally, too. We’ll get the video of that posted shortly.
Like I said, CNN had a really, really, really bad day.
