Congressman Frank Wolf spoke out today on getting answers to all the questions surrounding Benghazi, but he says the only way we’re gonna do that is if we have a bipartisan select committee with subpoena power.

Unfortunately, Wolf is my representative in Loudoun. This guy is always a day late and a dollar short, not to mention a John McCain/Lindsay Graham RINO.

    • http://www.therightscoop.com/ The Right Scoop

Who else fights for the Christians in the Sudan? And him speaking out on Benghazi, demanding answers shouldn’t be shunned. It should be embraced because that’s what we want congressmen to be doing.

  • http://no-apologies-round2.blogspot.com/ AmericanborninCanada

Even still 6 months later my heart breaks for those left alone to die. A committee. Typical. Let’s have another committee because that way government’s doing something right?
Subpoenas should have been sent out long ago if they haven’t been, and failure to comply should mean jail time until they give everything they know.
While I’m grateful Wolf and too few others are still talking about #Benghazi, damn it, this whole traitorous event should have been over, justice served months ago!!

    • Conservative_Hippie

Agreed! It’s frustrating, to say the least!

      • http://no-apologies-round2.blogspot.com/ AmericanborninCanada

        yes :-(

    • OneThinDime

Issa’s Oversight Committee has subpoena power, it’s bi-partisian, and it has done nothing since the initial hearings. Holder’s contempt dropped, Fast and Furious dropped, Benghazi nearly under the rug. If this has been a Repub potus, things would have been done differently.

a friend sent the following poem to me. according to the note it was written by an officer of USMC, who remains unnamed
The Battling Boys of Benghazi we’re the Battling Boys of beghazi, no fame, no glory, no paparazzi. just a fiery death in a blazing hell, defending the country we loved so well………………………. it wasn’t our job, but we answered the call. fought to the consulate, and scaled the wall. We pulled twenty countrymen from the jaws of fate, led them to safety and stood at the gate. ………………… Just the two of us, and foes by the score, but we stood fast to bar the door. three calls for reinforcement, but all were denied, so we fought and we fought, and we fought till we died. ……………… We gave our all for our Uncle Sam. but Barack Obama didn’t give a damn. Just two dead Seals, who carried the load. no thanks to us – we were just “bumps in the road”.

Oh Lord, that makes me bawl. Thank you though cousin for that. I’m going to have to do some digging and see if I can find this and who wrote it. It needs to be plastered everywhere!! Thank you cousin.
        Heart breaking though.

        • Patriot077

I agree ABiC! I will help plaster it even though I’ve alienated all my friends on fb :)

          • http://no-apologies-round2.blogspot.com/ AmericanborninCanada

I alienated a lot of my old ones… got a bunch of excellent new ones now :-D
I’ll join you in plastering! Thanks sister.

        • unclesamnephew

i have past out several copies to people i meet. you are correct that this must be shared. you are welcome

      • Patriot077

Heartache and heartbreak. God Bless “the Battling Boys of Benghazi”. It is shameful that such bravery from them should be so utterly disgraced by Obama, Clinton and Panetta.

      • http://no-apologies-round2.blogspot.com/ AmericanborninCanada

Found a nice copy of it online. Gonna go tweet it now. Thanks cousin.

  • Stehekin912

Remember Benghazi! Their blood cries out from the ground.

  • stage9

    Oh goodie! Another committee!

  • ryanomaniac

Blah blah blah. How many times have I heard a politician say they were gonna get to the bottom of something. No offense to the congressman…he couldn’t blame me for feeling so.

  • Rshill7

Did you know that we actually have a “Committee On Committees”?

We do. The question remains though:

Shouldn’t the Select Committee be voted in and out of committee, then sent to the Committee On Committees, before it convenes another new committee called the Select Committee? Shitty!

This is like a Prequel wrapped in a Sequel without an intervening story!

Before Scotty beams me up and out of this floating spherical looney bin, I have but two words to for these gracious and thoughtful milk-sopped pansies.

    1. YOU
    2. SUCK

    Ok Scotty. Enerigize!….Weeeeeee!

    • http://boogieforward.us/ K-Bob

I’m waiting for a subcommittee assignment

      • http://profile.yahoo.com/44F4AB4VSCTOCHBMBG4ZWWD5OU Laurel

        HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

        Priceless!

      • Rshill7

There’s an opening on the Nitty Gritty Subcommittee on Committees.

They’re accepting fancy resumes over at BR 549.

  • sjmom

We do need to get to the bottom of Benghazi, but if the select committee is bi partisan it will go nowhere. I’d rather a special prosecutor.

    • http://no-apologies-round2.blogspot.com/ AmericanborninCanada

      Dang it YES!!!!

    • aposematic

My comment too on Special Prosecutor, way to go you beat me to it.

  • Sober_Thinking

While I appreciate that this isn’t going away, it seems like too little too late to me. Please don’t get me wrong but Hillary, Panetta, and Obama have literally all gotten away with murder. Then Obama got re-elected. None of this should have ever happened. And the damned media won’t do their job and dig or reveal the truth. And no one can even talked to the survivors… we don’t even know who they are. And other countries (so called allies who happen to be Muslim) won’t cooperate. Where’s the pressure on them?

I hate to be pessimistic and down… but it’s been years since justice was last seen out of Washington. Obama has been teflon so far… I’d like to see these three in particular be brought to justice… but I’m losing hope.

    • http://profile.yahoo.com/44F4AB4VSCTOCHBMBG4ZWWD5OU Laurel

      My sentiments exactly.

    • OneThinDime

The GOP, including Romney & Ryan, allowed this to be buried until after the election. The same with sequester. Nothing has happened and nothing will. More Americans that Obama has murdered or allowed to be murdered this his inaction. They are white so no one cares.

  • http://profile.yahoo.com/44F4AB4VSCTOCHBMBG4ZWWD5OU Laurel

Another committee to get to the bottom or further the cover up?

That is what usually happens since any and all information is used as political ammo.

  • http://www.facebook.com/steve.dauw Steve Dauw

DO IT. What in heck is taking so long. Way Overdue. Get it Done.

  • http://navalwarfare.blogspot.com/ Libertyship46

We should NEVER let go of this. Ever. Only the Obama water carriers and his apologists in the mainstream media want to drop this because they know that if the facts ever came out it would bring Obama and Hillary Clinton down. Nobody died in Watergate. Here we have four dead Americans, one of which was the first American ambassador to be killed in over 30 years. We should NOT allow this to stand and we should certainly NOT forget about it. And we certainly owe a lot to the people who were wounded there and to the families of the dead. Time to man up and push Congress to do the right thing and launch a proper investigation into this.

  • http://tinyurl.com/wwsotu Wolfie

6 months since the murders and we know about as little now as we did on day 1. I wish we would, but I somehow doubt we’ll ever get to the bottom of this. How sad… Prayers is all we can offer for the family of the victims. At least we know God knows the truth and if there is a penalty someone has to pay for this, He will see to it that Justice prevails.

  • armyvet10

Like most here on this site I will welcome with open arms an honest attempt at getting to the truth. I will also iterate I don’t consider myself a conspiracy theorist….but….we have been told for years that the JFK assassination was the act of a lone nut who acted on emotional impulse and a preconceived hate for the President. We have been like wise lied to about the terrorist act in Benghazi. According to this administration the attack in Benghazi was the result of protestors of a video (by many who had never seen or heard of this video) and actions escalated…and they just happen to be armed to the nine with RPGs and large caliber weapons. I can only speak for myself, but my experience in the army, carrying the M60, or hog, was not something done with ease. So the idea of the upset civilians that were enraged over a video who just happened to have their trusty RPGs, Mortars, and Ak47s just doesn’t sound plausible. But this so called super committee will probably be just as effective as the Warren Commission. If we still are being lied to about the JFK assassination after almost fifty years, I will not hold my breath for the results of this committee either.

Blah, blah, blah, blah!Every time one of the DC elites says anything that is all I can hear. All bark and no bite!

  • louisiana_mom

As usual, the Repubs are a little late… a committee with subpoena powers should have been assembled at the end of week one when this administration refused to answer any questions!

  • edsmanedup

These Rhino’s make a lot of noise when they “know” nothing can be done…that way they don’t really have to work…Lazy punks…be very afraid…

  • edsmanedup

Form the dang commitee’s and get to work…whats stopping you…be very afraid…

  • aposematic

When was the last time there was a special prosecutor assigned to a Federal case: was it the Valerie Plame fiasco trying to take down Bush when it was a D doing the “leaking.” Just more proof the R’s on occasion speak loudly but always carry a feather.

    • http://no-apologies-round2.blogspot.com/ AmericanborninCanada

“R’s on occasion speak loudly but always carry a feather.”
      Perfectly said right there.

  • SoCalChick

Congressman Wolf is also trying to get to the bottom of the latest Obama scandal ->

    http://gulagbound.com/37905/obama-lets-chinese-spies-steal-top-secret-nasa-technology/

Here, there is information that the Obama administration is crushing every attempt to get to the bottom of a huge intel drain from NASA to Communist China; including missile defense technology. This is treason.

  • http://www.facebook.com/richard.drakos Richard Drakos

Once again, Frank Wolf is the man.

  • spin43

He must know that everything slides off Obama. Nothing will happen because over half Americans don’t give a dam as long as they keep receiving government checks and they have cable to watch crap on TV.

  • tinlizzieowner

It will take somebody outside the government completely to get the real truth about this fiasco and ‘Fast & Furious’ as well.

  • JungleCogs

Never trust a Lefty; stand-up and fight back, and do not give an inch to the Marxist anti-freedom Democrat Party!

  • mikeinidaho

Just like Fast & Furious, we will NEVER get the truth about Benghazi.
THE MOST CORRUPT ADMINISTRATION IN US HISTORY.

  • rick0857

Well if you ask Hitler-y Clinton “what difference at this point does it make????”

DON’T EVER FORGET THOSE WORDS AMERICA NEVER FORGET THOSE WORDS
    “WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE”
