Presidente Trumpo did something incredible – he commented on the recent recusal from his Attorney General Jeff Sessions not in a tweet, but in a statement soberly written!!! Amazing.
Here’s the statement, which he posted on Facebook:
Jeff Sessions is an honest man. He did not say anything wrong. He could have stated his response more accurately, but it was clearly not intentional. The whole narrative is a way of saving face for Democrats losing an election that everyone thought they were supposed to win. The Democrats are overplaying their hand. They lost the election and now, they have lost their grip on reality. The real story is all of the illegal leaks of classified and other information. It is a total witch hunt!
OK, so he got a little all-caps nutty at the end, but at least he’s moving onto Facebook from Twitter, where he has been rather histrionic and crazy-sounding.
In fact, he’s hardly done any tweeting at all since his speech and hasn’t attacked anyone. Could this actually be the “presidential Trump” we were promised oh so long ago? We’ll see…
