Bristol Palin announced on Thursday that she is pregnant with her second child.
The 24-year-old reality TV star – and daughter of former Gov. Sarah Palin (R-Alaska) – revealed that she was expecting in a post on her blog.
“I wanted you guys to be the first to know that I am pregnant,” she wrote.
“Honestly, I’ve been trying my hardest to keep my chin up on this one,” Bristol Palin said.
“I know this has been, and will be, a huge disappointment to my family, to my close friends and to many of you,” she added.
Palin recently called off her wedding to Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer one week before the ceremony. No reason was given at the time.
