Devastating new American Crossroads ad attacks our Campaigner-in-Chief

This is a great ad by American Crossroads that attacks Obama for caring more about keeping his job than actually governing the nation, especially after a terrorist attack on American soil in Benghazi:

I guess in Obama’s mind we just absorbed another terrorist attack.

It’s wasn’t a terrorist attack in his mind, Scoop. If it were, he wouldn’t have sent the FBI to “investigate that crime.”

    • Sandra123456

The FBI has not gone there yet.

“More than two weeks after four Americans — including the U.S. ambassador to Libya — were killed in an attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, FBI agents have not yet been granted access to investigate in the eastern Libyan city, and the crime scene has not been secured, sources said.

“They’ve gotten as far as Tripoli now, but they’ve never gotten to Benghazi,” CNN National Security Analyst Fran Townsend said Wednesday, citing senior law enforcement officials.”

      • Dukehoopsfan

Maybe I am missing something here. Why would the FBI be involved in a foreign investigation? Our assets are out of there. I’d rather turn the country into a parking lot.

        • Retired_Coach

Not exactly sure of the correct protocol but our embassies and consulates are sovereign American soil so maybe it is the job of the FBI, at least in part?

        • NObama wants it investigated as a crime, not a terrorist attack. Can’t admit to a murderous terrorist attack on US soil with just 5 weeks to Election. Can’t admit to a total failure of NObama’s “reach out and bow” policy towards the enemies of America. Can’t admit to a total lack of planning for the 9/11 anniversary.

To put it simply: They CANNOT and WILL NOT admit the TRUTH!

          • CitizenVetUSA

Involving the FBI under the guise of a Crime Investigation is a stall to change the news cycle topic by the Manufactured News Media.

          • Orangeone

And doesn’t Holder control the FBI so Holder can modify their findings and report?

            • Exactly. And when (if) the FBI ever publish a report. You can be sure it WON’T be before the election.

            • sno_warrior

Put holder on trial too and possibly treason!!!

          • sno_warrior

As long as this is ‘under investigation’ by the FBI, Obummer can’t COMMENT on what is happed or what is going to happen….”we have to wait until the investigation is complete, we need all the facts before we can make a decision going forward.”

I say IMPEACH IF he gets re-elected and try him for TREASON even if he loses!!!

        • After you turn it into a parking lot, i’ll paint the parking lines. I’ll have all the yellow i’ll need from Barry’s spine.

      • MiketheMarine

The proper group to send isn’t FBI or CIA. IMHO, it should be the USMC and SEALS. Armed…..

        • steprock

And the prize goes to Mike! Someone who actually knows about the military!

I’m not a veteran, but I do know that as a citizen, I expect a response. Obama and Hillary getting on TV telling the terrorists that if they want to join the modern world, they can’t throw these temper tantrums anymore is beyond the pale. It shows a level of ineptitude that is so absurd that it begs the question of whether they are being willfully thick-headed.

        • maynardb50

How about you and I (this old soldier) and some of my neighbor vets and we go get the goods on this bunch?

          • MiketheMarine

I have considered that before. Pack up, load weapons and go for an A-stan walk about.

      • Don

Its a sad day in American history when a Libyan president, put into office by revolutionary forces, tells the world the truth and the American president announces a petty alibi about some obscure video no one has ever seen as the cause for the murders of Americans. No wonder he is a laughingstock on the world stage, but thanks to the most corrupt media in our history still viable to be re-elected.

    • Orangeone

Right and he didn’t call it a terrorist attack and neither did the UN Rice until the “just bloggers” took them to task.

    • The FBI has not been sent. That was another lie – there is no “ongoing investigation”. It was decided it was too dangerous to send the FBI in there (but it was OK to leave our ambassador without security!). The FBI has teams of former soldiers who are trained for such a thing – the Obama administration just does not want them finding anything that can hurt his campaign before the election!

    • The special FBI team Obama ordered to Libya is having trouble clearing customs. The lab is still analyzing the “substance” one of the agents was carrying in his pocket. Agent Shaggy insists they are something called “Scooby Snacks”, named after his talking dog.

      • MiketheMarine

Did they send Agent Snoopy Dog Dog or is he too busy campaigning?

  • info Mullaney

Obummer is a worthless POS. What else needs to be said?

    • “The defendant will rise for sentencing.”

      • Juror whispers: “Doesn’t look as pResidental in that orange jump suit does he?”

NObama – From the White House to the Big House! It’s a NATURAL Progression!

        • NYGino

He’s turning our White House into an outhouse.

          • He’s just sentimental for the home he was raised in.

            • Orangeone

I vote this as best post of the day!

              • Naw, think about it VG1 getting back and posting has me beaten all ways to Sunday for best posts today! 🙂

                • Orangeone

I would put VG1 into a category of is own and vote best poster of the day!

          • badbadlibs

It’s exactly why I will never visit the White House. He and his hoard have sullied it forever by having been residents.

  • It is a great ad! Nothing should tick us off more than having our citizens attacked when it should be stopped.

It is over a minute. Would that make it just an internet ad? How effective are these ads if the media does not pick up on them? Just curious.

  • conservative58

Now, Romney needs to start hammering this message to the American people!

    • freenca

Ooh, Wouldn’t that be a good one to run during the debate? 🙂

  • He cares more about keeping his job – for the perks – than actually doing it!

He’s NOT a REAL President – He’s a Occupier pResident of the WH who is milking it for all he’s worth and not doing a damn thing to deserve the office!

Nov 6th – It’s Time to put a President BACK in the WH!

    • cathmom

Don’t forget Moochelle!! She just loves milking the US taxpayers for all those perks!! Would love to see the fights between these 2 when he loses… to be a fly on the wall on November 7!

      • “GD America! I’m not President ANYMORE!!!!!”

You never were you empty suit… I wear the pants around here remember! Now I’ll never have my second term! – MooMoo to NObama.

      • Orangeone

$1.4 billion was spent on their lavious vacations in just one year!

      • NYGino

There goes her pride in America again. The credit card is cancelled.

  • Susitna

America must be a very strong Country with great people, otherwise I cannot understand how we were able to survive 4 years without having a President. This election is between an Anti-American clown and a MAN who believes and loves America.

  • Very, very, powerful ad. I liked it a lot. Shows Obama up for the empty suit that he is. Any person that places his desire to be re-elected over the security of this nation is not only a very bad leader, he’s un-American too. This ad points that out and does it very well.

  • conservative58

‘Eye Candy’ my butt! What a ‘presidential’ thing to say — NOT!

He is so full of himself, it’s pathetic!

  • proudhispanicconservative

This is what I am talking about, does anybody know if this is a tv ad, or a web ad? This should be running to fight the two minute crap i have to watch here in florida from obama.

    • b14gb
  • Eye Candy to whom Stevie Wonder???????????? The Superpacs have much better ads…TAKE NOTE REINCE over the the GOWHIMPYP…this ad is PERFECT….showing him in Vegas, Letterman and on the View while the world burns! Nice touch adding Clinton and Bush…very smart….contrast the style!! I like this alot…LEADERSHIP tha Hallmark of any President! Excellent I hope Crossroads puts this on TV as well not just You Tube….This is the kind of ad that will strike people because IT IS FACTUAL and PATHETIC!!

The heart of Obama….EGO!!!!!!!!!!!! and that is it!

    Excellent…Excellent AD!!

  • Dukehoopsfan

The Titanic is taking on water and this narcissistic SOB is arranging the deck furniture!

When he gets done with that job he’s going back up to the pilot house, put the ship in reverse, and back over the iceberg again.

  • eye candy for blind libtards who got a free lobotomy on Nov 6th 2008 – or perhaps more likely it was a pre-existing incurable mental disorder condition.

    • conservative58

      Wolfie — don’t forget they got a free Obama-phone!

      • So the illegal aliens can now “Phone home!” just like that little creepy alien from ET?! 🙂

        • NYGino

We’re paying for the phones, are we next going to be paying for their monthly phone bill?

          • Wouldn’t surprise me to find out we already ARE to be honest. Nothing this regime does surprises me anymore.

            • Patriot077

I think we are, Wolfie. I just check my cell bill and the Universal tax on it is almost $10 and I don’t have all the bells & whistles …

              • 🙁 It’s the NObama way. At least we’re only talking about 5 more weeks of this pestilence until the storm is lifted and a New Dawn begins for America!

                • p m

Rush said today there are 16 Million of them with zer0 phones, not the 12 Million previously reported. I agree, they’re probably picking up the bills too.

                • Another day dawn, and another nightmare from this regime is exposed. Will November EVER EVER get here!!!???

  • I liked it! Although I do have a suggestion…they need to change the Romney picture at the end with Netanyahu! Maybe just put in a picture from a couple frames forward/backwards, but that one looked kinda creepy (EVERYONE looks like they have Downs Syndrome when they are paused in a video though, so maybe that’s not fixable… 😀 )

    • Not me. I look like an Olympian god. For some reason, though, when you start it back up again, I look like Larry The Cable Guy. How does that happen?

  • September 11, 2001, US soil was attacked by terrorists. When President Bush found out, he was in front of a room full of children, so he waited for an elegant time to bow out of the room as to not cause panic, then immediately sprung into action leading our nations response. He was critisized widely by media pundants. September 11, 2012, ….this ad… Please wake the F#$k up America. You can’t possably vote for this contemptable man.

    • I’ve been thinking about that.

Oh, how they laughed and laughed about “W” and his “My Pet Goat” four minutes (or however long it took). I remember how hot a topic it was on the nets back then.

Even Republicans said “Well, he should have done SOMEthing.” I replied, “What? Run in circles, scream and shout?” He DID do something he avoided panicking children, then got to work.

Did he sleep on it for 8 hours, after being given three other opportunities? No, that would make a man look like a total fool. A complete and utter failure.

  • Rshill7

That “eye candy” comment should haunt him, along with many other comments and acts. Good job using it here, twice.

He’s much more like glaucoma or severe cataracts. The MSM seems to be blind to him, but is really, blind for him.

    • NYGino

Being a pupil of Karl Marx he has put a stigmatism on our national fabric. I’m going to stop now, I’ll just get cornea and cornea if I don’t.

      • NYGino

I deserve twenty lashes for that post.

        • p m

20 likes and smiles, more like. Love it…thanks for the laugh.

          • NYGino

            Thank you p m.

    • He was actually thinking “I” candy. What he actually is is Stye Candy.

There have been a few lists of Obama’s historic “firsts”. This one has references. Good campaign fodder but remember – if you didn’t hear on GMA, it did not happen.

      Wake up America!!!!!

  • steprock

And yet…Obama and Mitt are nearly tied still!

Obama is hard left, has zero experience for the job, no track record of success, and a total fog over his past.

Mitt is a middle of the road candidate, so he should be able to peel of Indis and frustrated Dems while not alienating all of the Right. And he has a successful track record in business and government.

Why is he not killing this election already? He SHOULD be a shoo-in!

    • The fix is in on the opinion polls the MSM keep pushing. Don’t believe it.

    • p m

      Chin up, steprock.
      ‘He SHOULD be a shoo-in!’
He is, and the election results will prove it.

      • steprock

We shall see! I get excited looking at how little time is left between now and the end of Obama’s reign. Then I get worried that Mitt’s not sealing the deal, or that he won’t do much to change things.

God is in control. Politicians are no saviors.

        • p m

  • jdbaird

I don’t know the first thing about running a campaign so this is just off the cuff, but maybe Romney saying he won’t be involved in “character assassination” isn’t because he’s a wimp but by design, cuz it looks like the PACs are doing a good job of it.

  • Is_Sense_Common

While I am thrilled that someone has the wisdom to draw a very clear contrast about barry’s ridiculous activities in the face of a terror attack, it absolutely aggravates me to NO END that they used Clinton’s bombing of an aspirin factory as a plumb-line to what the “proper” response would have been. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?

Is our side really so desperate for foreign policy leadership that we’re willing to act like the Clinton’s are who Barry should’ve emulated? C’mon people! Quit acting like the friggin’ dimocrats have ANY PLACE in foreign policy. They are cowards!

    (sorry for the e-shouting – i’m very frustrated…)

    • steprock

I think that was clever. They tried to appeal to Dems by saying their great hero, Bill Clinton, had a better response. If it was just Republicans, it would look overly partisan. They’re trying to peel off irritated Obama supporters. Imagine you’re a Democrat – what has Obama done for you?

Heck, even JFK went toe to toe with the Russians over Cuba. What’s O do? Go on The View and hand out goodie baskets. I’m embarrassed for my country. My own President is embarrassing me. The VP always does, of course, but this is just foolish.

      • Is_Sense_Common

I do understand that steprock. Really I do. I just keep looking further down the road to a Shillary run for president in 2016 and if our side continues to further the myth that the Clintons were good for this country, then shame on us. You & I both know that the propagandists are re-writing history and are working hard to convince the American public that the Clintons were the perfect royalty for American politics. I heard somewhere the other day that Bill Clinton has a 72% approval rating. It just chaps my hiney that our side nearly endorses them. Am I the only one who remembers the scandals that didn’t include an intern and a cigar? There were MANY! The Lewinsky crap wasn’t anywhere near the worst of them.

        • NYGino

Trust me you’re not the only one who remembers. Say, whatever happened to Vince Foster?

        • steprock

This whole game is frustrating. The big political, money-grabbing, power-shifting game. So many people are happy to go along with their lives and are going to freak when the house of cards finally falls.

They won’t care unless it affects them personally. National debt? Who cares!?? Until China crushes our economy and we fall into a permanent depression. By then, it’s too darned late.

          And Romney plays nice guy?
Geez, I hate to have to vote for him! Voting against Obama. Just remember.

  • Fantastic ad, are any of these on TV or just the web? They need to get them on TV, Obama is advertising all over ESPN going after the male vote. Why don’t I see any Romney ads or conservative PAC ads? Depressing. Where is the $200 million the Koch bros promised or the $100 mill Sheldon Adelson promised. There is a month and 4 days to go. It’s time for Romney to bring in the savviest and meanest repub consultant and do something. We are stealing defeat from the jaws of victory. And it’s also time to get behind Todd Akin against Claire in Missouri for senate. I can’t imagine 4 more of ovomit.

Great Ad…now will the people get it and turn their back on this ‘entertainer and chief’??

  • Sober_Thinking

Great ad. As distasteful as it is… they should have shown the bloody streaks on the wall at the embassy.

This needs to be hammered home… I can’t stress that enough. Showbama has been campaigning for over a year now and obviously doesn’t give a flip about this country… it needs to be beaten home.

    • jlbs

I agree with your post except for the fact that 0 has been campaigning since Jan. 20, 2009.

      • Sober_Thinking

        Lol… you’re right, my bad.

  • Now THIS is an ad. Keep them coming, and hit him harder.

    • nibblesyble

Exactly. Btw, have you noticed our Nukefriend around lately? I am missing him and his posts. : (

      • I know nibble. I was thinking about him last night. There are a couple of folks who have been off lately, but yes, I miss our Nukefriend too and I hope he’s doing OK. 🙁

      • Is_Sense_Common

        • nibblesyble

I know, Nuke where are you at mister???

So happy that our V-Gentleman is back!

  • Man, what an effective message!

Everything about the ad is perfect: ….except that last image of Romney. I know they wanted a pic with a world leader and a flag, but the grinning just doesn’t work with the tenor of the ad. Does. not. work.

Use a better closing pic, and then run it in all 57 states until November 6th!

    The S*OAMF must go!

    • stage9

lol! I was about to say the same thing! All of these ads are really GREAT except when they show Obamney! It’s almost anticlimactic! If they’d show Colonel West, they’d be incredible!

      • (Especially if it was for the same job.)

Shhhh. I didn’t say that too loud, I hope.

    • kong1967

Obama is running ads in the 57 states. He’s running apology ads in the Islamic states.

      • And we’re paying for them. Like we are those stupid “Obama” phones.

        • kong1967

Yep, and we’re going to pay for the lawsuits coming against defense contractors because Obama told them not to send out layoff notices like they are supposed to by law. That s.o.b. tries to make it sound like he’s such a compassionate guy that cares about the middle class, but the fact that he’s willing to break the law to not give people a fair warning says exactly what his character is like. A narcissistic prick that only cares about himself.

EDIT: I hope Romney mentions this in the debates, but he has so many things he could mention that there’s not enough time.

  • Baldy1957

The most worthless piece of excrement to inhabit the Oval office in years. Sadly, his free cell phones, food stamps, and a host of other “entitlements” will win him another term in which to push his agenda. We get what we deserve.

    • kong1967

I kinda disagree with “we get what we deserve”. Of course you are right when speaking about the entirety of the electorate, but many of us have been fighting against it. The people that voted for this jackass are going to get what they deserve, not us.

The one trait that obama has not displayed during his miserable term: Leadership. He just doesn’t have it, nor does he understand what a leader is and how a leader actually leads. We can’t count on him for leading us in any direction…we’re like a rudderless ship, adrift on the sea. I’m confident that Romney has leadership qualities and can get this ship of ours on a course out of this malaise obama has created.

  • kong1967

Doh!! Just last night I listened to Wayne Allyn Root and a conservative talk show host complaining that Romney is going to lose because he won’t hit Obama where it counts. They complained that Romney wasn’t hitting Obama over this particular issue.

Sorry, guys, you’re wrong. He is doing it.

  • DebbyX

Ya’ know, there is just SO much he is inept at, that you could fill days sifting thru it all. I wrote to the Romney campaign telling them they’d better get it in gear and go on the attack. It’s now or never.

No response back yet. I was at least hoping for a form letter acknowledging they received it.

  • SaraPFan

Great ad on point! I hope some of the Obama devotees can see it and contrast Obama’s behavior to how past Presidents properly reacted and governed. Another example of an Empty Chair. • Look, Obama does and says what he does and says, because that’s what and how he calculates his political agenda and direction- ie; it’s his intentional behavior and attitude, one that signals his true intentions, motives, agenda, and goal.. And he is determined to continue in that end goal direction, ie; anti-America, anti-Israeli / pro-arab islamic muslim domination of America and the world ie; Obama’s new world order.

Our goal is simple, remove him from office, politically, electorally, impeachment, however it can and must be achieved, period.

  • PAWatcher

He’s all about the “I”, isn’t he? While an American ambassador is tortured and killed in a safe haven along with other Americans, this mug is being “I” candy for these she/its of the view. He picked an appropriate venue for his she/it peddling campaign stop.

  • If the people don’t “get it” because they’re more concerned about their hurt feelings by Romney’s 47% comment, than they are about Americans being killed in Libya, then I’m thinkin we deserve 4 more years!
