Devin Nunes explains to Jake Tapper why he’s so concerned about Obama surveillance of Trump

Jake Tapper interviewed Devin Nunes a short time ago about the new information he’s learned with regard to inappropriate unmasking of surveillance of Trump and his transition team, and Nunes explains why this is so concerning to him.

This was a great interview from Tapper as it helps us understand this somewhat complex issue.

As Levin told us earlier this year, when an American citizen is caught up in foreign surveillance and they aren’t doing anything illegal or criminal, then their associative information is supposed to be purged, or masked.

That’s essentially what is at issue here. Trump, specifically, and other members of the transition team weren’t masked when they were caught up in foreign surveillance. Not only that but the reports that contained their unmasked names and, I assume, transcripts of their phone calls were then disseminated widely throughout the Obama administration.

We all know that Obama made sure that happened by changing NSA rules just for this dissemination. And we’ve all seen the media reports referencing ‘transcripts’ and such of this surveillance.

You should watch the interview as they go into more detail about this.
