Dick Cheney said tonight that whoever the next Sec. of Defense is won’t be calling Obama, like he did Reagan, to thank him for leaving behind a strong military. In fact he says these cuts will hurt future presidents when trying to deal with crisis that come up on their watch.
He believes these proposed cuts are a reflection of Obama’s position that he’s always wanted to cut the military and goes on to say at the end of the interview that Obama would rather spend money on food stamps than on a strong military or support for our troops.
