CNS News is just out with an article entitled Sen. Rand Paul Avoids Question on Illegal Immigration: ‘I’m Not Sure I Understand the Question’. It’s because they asked him a question on illegal immigration and he feigned ignorance…or so it seems. Here’s the question:
“The participation rate is the lowest it’s been in 37 years. Would allowing illegal aliens to work in the United States help those who have stopped looking for work or given up looking for work?”
How is that a hard question to understand? Granted it sounded like he was walking and talking and perhaps he was distracted. But it’s a pretty easy question and the answer should have been an emphatic ‘NO’. But even after repeating the question Paul said he didn’t understand the question. CNS News is not buying it and believes he was trying to avoid the question.
