‘This is a DISGRACE’ – Mark Levin TORCHES Trump for his ‘economic authoritarianism’

Woah the “Great One” Mark Levin absolutely torches Trump on his “economic authoritarianism” in this Facebook post he just put out:

Economic authoritarianism has now arrived; sorry, there is no other way to put it. I am reminded of Woodrow Wilson and Franklin Roosevelt, both of whom used the power of the federal government to intimidate and even crush legitimate, law-abiding businesses for failing to abide by their political demands. This is a disgrace, and we should all object to it. It concerns me to no end that there are putative Republicans and conservatives who rally around such un-American and destructive strong-arm tactics. And the fact that it is declared by a recent convert to the Republican Party, as opposed to a Democrat, doesn’t excuse it; indeed, it should be even more alarming.

He then posted to this article about Trump threatening companies this morning on Twitter:

President-elect Donald Trump is threatening to impose heavy taxes on U.S. companies that move jobs overseas and still try to sell their products to Americans.

But the plan could drive up prices for U.S. businesses and consumers and risk setting off a trade war — if it’s legal to begin with.

In a series of early-morning tweets Sunday, Trump vowed a 35 percent tax on products sold inside the U.S. by any business that fired American workers and built a new factory or plant in another country.

Trump campaigned on a vow to help American workers but also to reduce taxes and regulations on businesses.

Trump tweets “there will be a tax on our soon to be strong border of 35 percent for these companies wanting to sell their product, cars, A.C. units, etc., back across the border.”

We posted on the economic rant here.

Levin is 100% percent correct on this. This is really dangerous for Trump to be doing and for supposed “conservatives” to be praising. Kellyanne Conway, Reince Priebus and Mike Pence all defended the actions this morning, showing that they care more about declaring victory than they care about the actual principles of conservatism and free market values. But we knew that already, didn’t we?

I really hope Levin expands on this on his radio show. If he does, we’ll post it because this is a terribly serious and important issue.
