Ugh. The Donald just couldn’t help himself. Trumpertantrum had to take a cheap shot at Ted Cruz in his closing statement when it would be bad form for Cruz to hit back:

Trump was basically saying that Cruz won because he cheated when he knows that’s absolutely not true. What he’s also saying is that he would have won, and we all know that’s bull. Trump didn’t have a ground game in Iowa because he thought his personality would alone get people to the polls. He lost because he wasn’t taking it seriously and once again, he lashes out at Cruz unfairly instead of taking the blame.
I am glad Cruz didn’t respond because it would have looked as petty, if not more, than Trumpertantrum’s cheap shot.
The Donald likes to fight dirty and despite trying to take a higher road in the last few days, including in this debate, it came out in the end because that’s who he is.
