85% voted against the sheriff. Union asking for sheriff to be removed from office.

According to an WSVN reporter, almost half of the union members participated in this vote:
No confidence vote for BSO Sheriff Scott Israel from 534 deputies. 628 of 1300 union members voted

So it’s certainly far more consequential that he’d lead everyone to believe. Honestly, knowing that almost half of your deputies no longer believe in your leadership – we’ll that’s a killer in my mind. Under that kind of pressure, it wouldn’t surprise me if in a month we hear that he’s resigning to spend more time with his family or something.
