She said no one stood up to the extremist voices being preached. Clearly Egypt has been to the extremist side of life and now are taking extraordinary measures to clamp down on it. And I think it’s great.
It is, though, an aberration in the Muslim world and while it may not endure in the long term, it sure is good to see in the short term. After all, isn’t this what people are calling for Muslims to do, to speak out and take action against the extreme voices in Islam?
