DUDE! Rep. Sean Duffy SCHOOLS Andrea Mitchell on fairness under Obamacare, even throws Jon Stewart in her face

OK now this is exactly what I’ve been talking about. Rep. Sean Duffy (R-WI) not only doesn’t put up with any crap from MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell, but schools her on the fact that Obamacare treats big business differently than individuals and families. And he does it well, even throwing Jon Stewart in her face because he asked the questions that they should be asking. He rounds it off at the end telling her “I think the media should start doing it’s job.” BOOM!

He even leaves her speechless at one point, but I’m gonna make you watch to see that. It’s awesome:

Obama is just another spoiled little rich elitist who is throwing a temper tantrum in that little press conference today to get what he wants. I guess Marxist are just immature little brats.

      …and Genocidal Maniacs .”

  • d1comment

Can’t watch right now. Did Andrea have a senior moment..?

    • marketcomp

Yes she did! It was spectacular!

    • billma40

Her life is a senior moment.

    • NYGino

    • OK_Sam

She sure had a “stupid” moment or two. That was great!

    • 1tootall

Not a senior moment…truth finally penetrated her dense cranium….she didn’t know how to handle it.

    • c4pfan

  • 57thunderbird

He gave Andrea a spanking.Typical leftist.Interupt and don’t allow the man to finish his answer because it doesn’t fit her agenda.

  • Freedomswatch

LOL! That just made my day!

  • Conservator1

Rep. Sean Duffy scores a knockout 10 seconds into round one – bloody brilliant mate. MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell exposes her hidden agenda; support Obama regardless of how moronic a so-called journalist appears. I can’t recall a politician dressing down a reporter like this ever.

    Well done Rep. Duffy…………….

    • tinlizzieowner

      About time, ain’t it. 🙂

      • TexasPGRRider

        4 SURE

      • Conservator1

It sure was – I watched it lived and never witness a journalist get pistol-whip to the point of speechlessness. I’m sure TRS already knew about it, but I sent a tip just in case.

  • 57thunderbird

Did Andrea leave her teeth in the glass this morning?

    • marketcomp

      • nibblesyble

        I echo that…funny as hell!!

  • Mike Bittner

Unfortunately, the viewer or viewers of that MSDNC show probably didn’t listen (I know he/she/they didn’t) and that epic put down of “Andrea Mitchell, NBC News, Washington” was probably not effective. The only recourse left, methinks, is a revolution or civil war…and it’s not going to be pretty.

…KING AND QUEEN OOOOOOOBAMA enrolling into Obama Care you have got to be kidding me , you plebes out there EAT YOUR CAKE sit down and SHUT UP .”

  • stage9

Like I said on News Busters, there’s only one way to handle a bully and that’s to put your fist square in his jaw. Shuts him up every time.

    • notebene

And if the bully tries to get up…sock him in the nose for good measure!

  • welltempered2

All of a sudden the press and Obama are concerned about military families.

    • Galatiansch2vs20

While they are doing nothing to help the Veteran memorials to reopen when there is something they could do.

    • stage9

Yeah, they’re concerned they’re hanging out around war memorials.

  • proudhispanicconservative

For one moment there I thought she was speechless, but then I realized she was accomodating her teeth lol. Excellent to see a GOP congressman actually finish a complete sentence.

    • marketcomp

      A little adjustment, huh. LOL!

  • Galatiansch2vs20

What a picklepuss. Her negative emotions were emanating from her face.
Did Sean drink a shot of caffeine or something? Wow, was he talking fast. Those with slower processing minds (I’m often in that category) might have a bit of a hard time getting his message.

    • I liked how he started out slower, and somewhat hesitatingly, but when she basically floated the stupid accusatory stuff, he jacked up the speed so he could lay out a very rational argument that she couldn’t find a crack in.

Her weak response at the end reminded me of that poor guy who ran against Jim DeMint last time.

Let’s start calling her Andrea Greene.

      • Galatiansch2vs20

It was important to start out with solemnity when speaking of those who made such great sacrifice.
I did find some to criticize the guy on… for example, when he said around the one minute marker ‘that is not the intent of the shutdown’, it’s like he’s owning the shutdown when he should be blaming the Democrats.

He also did not take the glaring opportunity to say the Senate was given opportunities to fund all those pieces of government in the democrats’ ‘parade of terribles’ at once without the piece meal approach being taken now, but they refused.
Nearing the five minute mark, Andrea says with all due respect and brings it back to the original topic as to what it’s about, but she’s the one who went off that topic herself, bringing up Headstart. He did call her on not staying on the death benefits topic.
But at around the six minute mark, he says Obama’s won the debate, which was a huge mistake.

  • Steve Angell

    Sean Duffy was great.

That is off limits. Sean Duffy why? She had no coherent answer could not defend Obama not being in Obama Care. Could not defend individuals being penalized not big business. She even seemed to be living in an alternative universe where single payer had been law in America.

    • tinlizzieowner

“She even seemed to be living in an alternative universe”.
No, she lives in this universe but she works for a news network created way out on the planet ‘Ur-Anus’. 😉 😉

  • WI4Walker

She tried so hard to defend her man – I wonder if she’ll at least get a 1/2 star behind her name for effort.

    Disgusting! Good job Rep. Duffy!

  • BAM!!! Thank God finally! Hopefully we see more Reps like Sean Duffy. I remember him and his wife (who championed Conservative values) back in the early 90s. So glad he took it to Andrea, she is pathetic!

    • OK_Sam

But sadly, she is typical of the LSM.

  • notebene

Excellent! That is exactly what needs to happen every time the talking heads try to pin this on the GOP! She was flat stunned by the truth and that he said it! Keep the pressure on the Imposter in chief and keep the blame on him…he owns ALL of this! He’s the alleged great communicator, great community organizer…he is the messiah for the left and he’s putting the screws to the American citizens because he is choosing to act like a spoiled toddler! He’s the one not allowing any funding to anything unless he gets his way…here’s the deal Odumbo…you go on your stupid healthcare plan and join the rest of us, or we will let the whole thing crumble and your name will be even more synonymous with FAILURE!!

  • justsayno

Rep. Duffy just gave her the text book definition of a B*tchslap!

  • mcgurn

She ignores the questions & spins the conversation just like king Hussein. And speaking of the Vets & everyone locked out of fed property did everyone hear that the feds were making the National Mall open to illegals for a rally? WTF is that???!!!

    • tinlizzieowner

Because illegal non-Americans have ‘freedom of speech’. Born Americans and legal aliens don’t, in Obama (the Kenyan foreign exchange student’s), world.
      😉 😉

  • NanNJ

    This woman is an idiot.

why would insult Idiots… shame on you………he he

      • tinlizzieowner

You are right. Lenin coined the correct term for these people long ago.
        “Useful Idiot”. 😉 😉

  • That was excellent, Scoop!

(Apropos of nothing, the dude could totally do a Marco Rubio impersonation. Same sounding voice and diction.)

Rep. Duffy is very, very quick on his feet, and he totally shut her up by hammering out the rational arguments (without stuttering, and pausing to make sh*t up). He’s a fast talker like Paul Ryan, but he makes a ton more sense.

I hope to hear more from this guy.

    • PNWShan

You’ve got to talk fast in a situation like this. Who know when she’ll cut you off?

    • OK_Sam

      A new national shining light.

  • tinlizzieowner

As with all the the liberals on MSLSD, this Twit isn’t bright enough to realize that the bucket she’s carrying Obama’s water in, is full of holes. 😉 😉

  • Right_Wingnut

Screw Duffy. As soon as he apologizes to Ted Cruz, I’ll listen. Here’s an account of one of many instances where he slammed Cruz over the past few weeks. http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2013/09/19/CNN-assists-Sean-Duffy-Peter-King-in-double-down-on-Ted-Cruz-attack

    • c4pfan

      I agree.

    • Well that’s disappointing. Allying ones self to King is a very poor choice in this environment. That’s like asking for rescuers to drop chum in the water while you wait to be picked up.

  • Steve Angell

This is having an impact here is Cavuto setting the record straight.

Explaining all the Obama/Carney lies. Very good.

    • Cavuto is one of the few laying it out there. Wish more people would rely on his analysis.

  • Jim1904

She is the most PATHETIC of all “journalist”.

    • proudhispanicconservative

You are being too generous to call her a journalist. 🙂

    • OK_Sam

I don’t think she is the most pathetic since there are so many in the running for the title.

  • disqus_XeFVQf2YXo

Andrea, looks like you got your Bull handed back to you… Karma is tough isn’t it… But I’ll not miss the chance of calling you a leftist hack who sucks up to those who you think that further your career.. I see that even you are having second thoughts about who you’ve been supporting……. not very fast on your feet anymore..

  • Marky_D

Brilliant stuff. She didn’t have an answer, because there is no answer. What sort of banana republic runs a dual legal system? One system for ‘the plebs’ and one system for those with the ear of the emperor.

We have the same c*** in the UK. Make a mistake on a tax return and the law comes down on you like a ton of bricks. Blatantly steal out of the public expense system and you have to get an underling to go on TV and announce that ‘lessons will be learnt’ and ‘everything was honourable and above board, but the system has failed’.

    Pure BS.

  • stage9

I’ve got a really STUPID question. If the HOUSE is the chamber that holds the money purse, how can Andrea Mitchell (or ObooHoo for that matter) say that their entitlements, which have YET TO BE FUNDED, are “non-negotiable”?

Don’t they have the argument backwards? Isn’t the guy with the money the one you should be negotiating with, not the one who needs it?

I mean, I’m not an Economics or Business major; I’m only a overactive brain, but it would seem to me that if I wanted to finance something and I walk into a bank, I am not in the position to be making DEMANDS.

    The bank has the money.
    I want the money.
I am the one that needs to negotiate (convince the bank) to loan me the money.

Obama DEMANDS that the chamber with the purse gives HIM the money to finance his projects, yet is telling the chamber with the money that he will NOT NEGOTIATE!

EXCUSE me, but you’re not in a POSITION to negotiate fool. I HAVE THE MONEY; all you have is 10,000 pages of worthless paper.

    Now, who’s going to negotiate?

    • Galatiansch2vs20

Not stupid, but rather, an intelligent question!

    • TexasPGRRider

      Precise Reality

  • Reardon

Absolute smack-down! I really like this guy. Andrea kept going from the single issue, to the larger overall issue, then back to the single issue. I think he even won her over. LOfreakinL!

  • Tim_CA

    • crosshr

      yes !

  • WInemaker54

Duffy scored a TOUCHDOWN on Andrea Mitchell and recovered the onside kick. She couldn’t defend Obama and the demowits!….Love it!

    • OK_Sam

Andrea let slip that the resident really wanted single payer. Did anyone else catch that one? LOL

      • WInemaker54

Not the first time I have heard the libs say it. But, yeah, I caught it.

  • Dantes

This is exactly what the GOP hasn’t been doing these last 5 years. Keep up the good work and the rest of the GOP needs to follow. Get in the media’s faces, punch back…instead of sitting there like a bunch of abused puppies cowering in a corner.

    • crosshr

      Amen !
and hope they’ll put their act together now .

  • SurfinCowboy

Gads she can’t even talk to start in this video.

    (I watch the video)

HA! What a smackdown! Call up Rep. Duffy and give him some kudos!

    • Michael Kosak

when democrats come on her show they DO NOT get grilled like that- it is more of a DEBATE with her whenever a GOP comes on- when it is a DEM it is a love-fest

  • Vorlath –

Oh man. That was a smackdown of biblical proportions! Andrea didn’t know WTF was going on. Well, it’s well known that liberals live in their bubble, but it’s not often someone comes along and bursts that bubble so conclusively.

    • NYGino

She knew what was going on. She just was not used to being put in a position that she couldn’t defend using the stock left talking points. I saw a flash in her face that said…”you know, he is right!”

  • puma_for_life

    Good job!

  • FedUp

    Today Obama said (paraphrased):

If you are an employee in a business and you go to the owner and request a pay increase, then are denied, is it fair to then tell your boss that you are going to shut the business down unless you get your raise?

What he fails to realize is “HE” is the employee and the American people are the OWNERS! Not the other way around!

So…that being said lets revisit his analogy:

If Obama goes to congress ( managers of the owners money ) and requests a debt limit increase ( the right for him to spend more of our money ) and congress denies it ( without budget reform or in other words proof that he wont come back asking for more and more and more ) then HE will shut down government!

It isnt congress thats causing this stalemate, its a spoiled rotten employee that thinks he owns the f*%$kn company.

So….how does the leather on the sole of that shoe taste now Mr Obama? You keep messing with the American people and “WE’LL” find some place else to place that other shoe you have on!

  • DebbyX

That segment definitely deserved the ‘BOOM’!!

    • crosshr

      BOOMx3 !

  • NYGino

A little more than a pinprick, hey Andrea?

  • nibblesyble

My heart start races every time I have to listen to hags like this one, but it was worth it to hear Rep Duffy…you go Sir..you go!!

    • crosshr

      with a high5. -:))

    • TexasPGRRider

      I was dreadin` watchin` too, nibbles… till I did…THANKS, Scoop

      • nibblesyble

Totally worth it eh Texas? Scoop rocks!

  • NYGino

    Gonads seem to be growing.

  • NYGino

Move over Rubio, I think your replacement just showed up.

  • spawn44

The left can never debate the facts. Andrea looks like a little kid who was caught with her hand in the cookie jar by mommy. This guy makes her and the left look pathetic

    • nibblesyble

Thank God..we need more of him to do that!

  • moovova

    Great job Rep. Duffy.

Andrea Mitchell is a rude bitch…

  • mark

Duffy, do U have a Security Detail???
U better increase it if U do or if not
Get The SEALS to cover for U!

    • badbadlibs

o bammy isn’t stymied by the Seals, ask the team six that went down in a crash…oh wait, they’re dead.

  • Michael Kosak

Now the republicans are pressing the democrats greatest wish- they would love a one-year delay before this monstrosity affects everyone (especially before the 2014 midterms)

  • mark

Does Mr Greenspan ever talk to his blushing bride???
She cannot be this messed up…….
    Every Day/All Day…..

    • crosshr

I thought Alan dead , NO? …. sorry bad joke Greenspan 🙂

  • ColonelNeville

Socialized government medical control over life and death, liberty and prosperity will destroy America and all of us. See Reagan’s warning on same and Yuri Bezmenov on YouTube. No, really.

  • Timothy Jacques

Dang….this is beyond “Boom, taste my nightstick”. It’s more like, “Boom, taste my Louisville Slugger!”

  • poorhardworker

MSM has no answer to the real questions…only the talking points! And when confronted…they go mute…like Andrea! LOL!!! DO YOUR JOB AND ASK THOSE QUESTIONS!!!

  • KansasGirl

    He was fantastic.
Love seeing Mrs. Alan Greenspan dumbfounded and mute.

  • kong1967

Ahh, added tactic. Bring up the sad stories and put it on the Republicans. “I’m not taking sides”, but she defended everything on Obama’s side and pointed fingers at Republicans the whole way. Nah, you’re not bias.

    • TexasPGRRider

Didn`t work too well This Time, kong….

  • PVG

  • abe-froman

Huge SMACKDOWN….wow he slammed her thru the f#£&ing floor. …stupid cow that she is

  • abe-froman

No andrea …agreeing to obamas clean cr and caving on everything with the promise of talking later is NOT negotiation Andrea; its cspitulation and that is NOT in the cards

  • 36Free

Badam. You got knocked the *@#% out!

  • duane awalt

Sean Duffy, you just earned my respect sir

  • You’re gonna make me watch it huh? 😉 Alrighty. Gimme a few minutes. I’ll be back.

    • jgilman1

Notice how after he left her speechless she had to fall back on the soldiers, pathetic.

  • Swamp Fox

Bam! Put in her place and taken to school. Duffy earned his pay today; hopefully others will stand up and continue to give the people’s feelings, thoughts, wishes and desires a voice.

If I knew how to do it, I’d buy that man his favorite beverage or cuisine.

  • Betsey_Ross

It was a slow start, but he found his sea legs and pounded her with the facts. We have wasted so many months by letting these idiot talking heads rule our lives. You go, Sean. This is how you get re-elected…..by standing up for your constituents. Not by playing Santa Claus. Looks like Ted Cruz is giving these guys so cajones.

    • TexasPGRRider

      Thank Goodness, Betsey, THANK GOODNESS

  • crosshr

please someone, send a truck of ice to Andrea tonight for all the pain in her dear bud cheek from the woopin given by this very articulate rep. Sean Duffy from WI.

Towards the end, I almost feel bad for talking head Andrea for all the beating that shut her up, but I did not ! :-))

  • jgilman1

There are a few instances when pain feels good, and that was one. It’s not that hard to stump a Liberal, facts, common sense and articulation is all it takes.

  • sjmom

Let’s see how long it takes for Sean to be on MSNBC again. Methinks it won’t be until next century he beat her up so badly. Now, can we get the rest of the GOP on his page.

  • Devin McBride

“I think this is what they would say, but you don’t know what they would say, because you haven’t asked.” ~Sean Duffy

Reminiscent of that whole lets vote on the clean cr bill that the GOP refuses to ask it’s own constituents.

  • Kimberly Petrich

  • Dave Wesley

I have a feeling that news stations are going to stop talking to the real Republicans and stick to people like McCain. Otherwise the uneducated voters might start to become aware of what is really going on here. (I wouldn’t hold my breath though)

  • SisterMary

Oh he is such a meanie.

    • TexasPGRRider

      OUR Kind o` meanie, Sister

  • faxxmaxx

Here’s a guy to watch. FINALLY someone unafraid of speaking the truth. No PC BS. Love it!

  • shawnmer

Niiice! Shoulda had this Wisconsin guy debating Biden!

  • badbadlibs

If she ever has said she’s a real reporter with no bias, then she lied thru her teeth.
She was carrying the democrat water ever so carefully. SHE and her fellow yellow journalists are the very reason we are losing our freedom.

  • Christine Ferrara Fernez

this is the truth !way to go DUFFY! keep it coming !

  • TexasPGRRider

Had her crawfishin` by the end there, didn`t he ! ! ! XLNT

  • sallyjohanna

We have to get this message out! Our Congress is sending CR’s that fund the important Gov’t programs and the families of our fallen Soldiers. Harry Reid the Senate and Obama are sitting on them…refusing to sign them. Andrea Mitchell had the nerve to tell Rep. Duffy…you can not send piece meal CR’S…yes we can and the bad guys won’t sign them!

    • PicklePlants

Approving the spending piece meal is NORMAL. The big continuing resolution is NOT. Government spending is on autopilot and must be stopped. Congress should not be allowed to bundle the entire spending plan into a single bill. Shine light on the process – force individual votes on individual spending appropriations. Then watch the roaches scramble into the darkness.

      • sallyjohanna

Did you hear Rep Duncan Hunter on Megyn Kelly? He was defending the families of the fallen soldiers. He said Congress had anticipated the games and sent a clean CR funding these Military appropriations to the Senate, he said they were sitting on it an refusing to sign it. I am not an expert on House Resolutions…but it does sound like these piece meal CR’s are driving the Senate and Obama a little nuts?? I thought it was a strategy?

        • PicklePlants

Then the next question is – “Why is Harry Reid holding up the money for this?” – and everyone should be asking that question.

  • Hillary Shackley

Ok so we have just found Ted Cruz’s running mate- STAND TALL and be proud, two conservatives who walk the talk! WAY TO GO!

    • Right_Wingnut

I doubt it. Duffy spent the better part of the past two weeks attacking Cruz. He’s in the same camp as Peter King. I wish more people payed attention.

  • seeingeye

A breath of fresh air! So much common sense. I sure wish it was contagious.

    • CalCoolidge

But why don’t any of them answer that it is not Obama against the Republicans, but Obama against the people?

Say that American people – in every survey taken – don’t want Obama care. So, how can the people’s will be non-negotiable. You are saying that Obama won’t even negotiate with the American people. That’s a bit arrogant isn’t it? Whose country is it?

I’d like to see her try to get around that.

  • sallyjohanna

The public tide has to change and we have to expose that Obama and the Senate are the stone wall and causing the pain…enough!

  • CalCoolidge

She’s right to “blame” the “system,” It’s called checks and balances, and it is gridlock by design.

That’s why it would be stupid to nationalize all this stuff, even if it were Constitutional to do so. But then again, the fact that it is stupid to nationalize stuff is why the framers made it unconstitutional.

  • Stewie

What a stammering idiot that lady is! How is she on TV with such inability to put a sentence together?

  • Jkjljmt_Pqprpstt

    Put some sleeves on, woman!

    • sallyjohanna

Haha, you made me go back and look!

  • sallyjohanna

The other pearl…..he called out the Obama media lapdogs…and got away with it!!

  • HarrietHT2

Andrea Mitchell: Pickle Face. Or is it Prune Face? All the energy in her body has dried up against the assault she subjected herself to by Rep. Duffy. We need to see more slap downs like this.

  • Andrea Mitchell is obviously shilling for the president…likely looking for a move to work in the Obama administration (like so many of her media cronies).

    • CalCoolidge

Shilling doesn’t seem like a strong enough word.
Did you hear her tell the Congressman that Obamacare is off the table? Excuse me? Whose table is it in Article I Section 7, hers or the House?

  • Right_Wingnut

Please look at the results of this Google search of the words, Cruz Duffy. https://www.google.com/#q=duffy+cruz

Duffy spent the better part of the past few weeks attacking Ted Cruz. He basically said Cruz needs to sit down and shut up in numerous interviews. He’s in the same camp as Peter King.

I mentioned this earlier, but apparently people either missed it or don’t care.

    • StandProudNow

I was ecstatic to see Andrea so taken aback. She started out being quite the aggressor only to meet someone pushing her back, and quite a bit.

Not knowing Rep. Duffy I did some research and have to say I’m now not so sure about him.

What to do? if we ONLY applaud those we agree with all or most of the time, we will have not many to applaud. But do we applaud those in the category of Peter King? (Not necessarily putting Duffy there…)

      It ain’t easy!

      • StandProudNow

Have to say that as much as I have issues withe Boehner, I have sent several mails the past few days thanking him for standing firm.

        • Right_Wingnut

Boehner does deserve credit. I agree. But he didn’t go on a dozen talk shows to attack Cruz either.

      • sallyjohanna

If he did a good job here….he deserves our praise. We have a small voice whereas Obama has a megaphone..we need every voice that can speak for us nationally to be heard!

        • Galatiansch2vs20

His job here was mixed in my opinion. Please scroll up to see where I posted some of the reasons why I think it wasn’t all positive.

      • Right_Wingnut

Sorry, but I can’t forgive any Republican who took to the airwaves to attack Ted Cruz. Duffy did it repeatedly, and was rather harsh in his rhetoric. He’s dead to me.

    • Darrell Griffin

It took him a week to “get it.”

      • Right_Wingnut

He was even tweeting about it.

        Sean Duffy ‏@RepSeanDuffy18 Sep

House agrees to send #CR to Senate that defunds Obamacare. @SenTedCruz & @SenMikeLee refuse to fight. Wave white flag and surrender.

        • Darrell Griffin

That’s EXACTLY the point you are missing. Even those who were against all of this a week ago are starting to come around.

I know what he was doing last week. As were the talking heads like Krauthammer, a lot of people on these blogs, and every other weak in the knees Republican.

Courage is contagious. Those who have been beat into submission are starting to see that the only way to beat the bullies is to stand up to them.

I won’t hold my breathe for McStupid and Grahamnesty, but if even the critics are starting to see it, that’s progress.

You are , of course, free to continue to b_tch about last week and the opening moves instead of focusing on the end game.

          • Right_Wingnut

That attitude is how we end up nominating RINOs, with all due respect. They don’t change their spots overnight.

By the way, he was actually doing joint interviews WITH Peter King to attack Cruz.

            • Darrell Griffin

Yeah, and the all or nothing, PaulBot, 100% pure candidate or you stay home/ vote third party is working so well for us.

I’m not going to go back and forth with someone who feels compelled to argue with like minded people, and posts the same thing 20-30 times on the same thread.

You don’t like the guy. We get it. Right now, we aren’t in a position to be picky. That’s how we got Obama and a 2nd term.

I’m one of those people that are stuck in the middle between the kook fringe libertarians, and the liberal lite RINOs. Where most of the GOP is. The purists are just as much part of the problem as the RINOs are.

Right NOW, we need all hands on deck, and a unified front.
If we lose any more ground, you won’t have to worry about 2016. RINOs, or pure candidates. You’ll have to worry about which of us gets put up against the wall first.

              • Right_Wingnut

I can’t stand Ron Paul, or his son, Rand. So, I’m not sure where the PaulBot thing comes from.

                Romney supporter, were you?

                • Darrell Griffin

Nope, It would appear we’re on the same page. I’m a Cruz guy. I also knew Romney would lose.

My point is that RIGHT NOW, we need to turn the guns outward. I say “PaulBots, because they are a destructive force that add nothing except chaos and then undermine…every election cycle…going back 12-16 years.

We need to put the fire out, then worry about how to redecorate. When we have a large part of the base focused on redecorating while Rome is burning, it becomes self-fulfilling and self-defeating.

              • Galatiansch2vs20

We got Obama and a second term because a man, considered a moderate by some, had a history of not standing up for the unborn with conviction, not standing up for marriage with conviction, and whose signature legislation was Romneycare, said to be the blueprint for Obamacare, so he was weak on that front. Many stayed home. Republicans keep winding up with RINO presidential candidates the base aren’t thrilled about in the general election and that hasn’t resulted in many candidates winning (ie before Romney, McCain and Dole).

                • colliemum

I think it is well beyond time to look at an analyse how much the IRS attack on TEA Party organisations, and on ‘True The Vote’ has had on the outcome of that election.
Isn’t it obvious that grass root organisations cannot organise as they want when they have to do battle with the IRS, and have no money coming in?
I can’t be the only one who has watched the hearings, where over 500 TEA party organisations were named as having been harassed by the IRS. Just think for a moment how that affected the elections in 50 states!
As for ‘True The Vote’ – haven’t we all been talking about ballot stuffing and other examples of voter fraud? Wouldn’t at least some of this have been prevented if ‘True The Vote’ had been able to run as they wanted, instead of having to do battle with the IRS?

I am sick and tired of all the blame placed on American conservative voters when in fact they had to fight with one or both hands tied behind their backs while SEIU and others were up and running and protected by the DOJ and the IRS.

                • Right_Wingnut

It shouldn’t require a tea party group to get someone off their couch to vote Obama out of office. That said, as long as we keep nominating “electable” candidates like Romney and McCain, large swaths of conservatives will continue to stay home. I blame the candidate more than the IRS in this case.

                • Darrell Griffin

Agreed, as well as how much “stimulus” money went to support the grassroots on the other side WHILE the TP and others had the boot of government on their throats.

                • Galatiansch2vs20

I was responding to Darrell Griffins’ claim:

‘ Right now, we aren’t in a position to be picky. That’s how we got Obama and a 2nd term.’

The candidate who was nominated, Romney, I believe had something to do with the loss.

As to the IRS and the tea party, I’m not sure how much the persecution they faced affected the outcome of the presidential election though I believe it likely affected a number of other elections when it came to things such as the Congress. Romney wasn’t exactly the model of a tea party candidate.

    • Rightyright

That’d must be why He was invited on the show. Andrea thought he would throw Ted under a bus!!

      • Right_Wingnut

Exactly. Look what Graham and McCain do. They rip Republicans on Meet The Press, then go on Fox, talk tough about Obama and assume all is well.

    • Galatiansch2vs20

I was telling one of the moderators:

  • sallyjohanna

Andrea is the law..Congressman that is a non negotiable demand???

Our Representatives in Congress have a duty to stand up on our behalf, that is why they are there, it is their job. The POTUS and the Senate have the same duty. But the POTUS said today…I don’t have to negotiate with Representatives… I don’t have to cause I’m KING! Let them eat cake!

    • Galatiansch2vs20

Wait, the wife wouldn’t like that…. vegetables maybe?

amen amen amen and the dummies still don’t get it

  • Ken Bell

I don’t see him getting invited back on the show. He just made all 7 of MSNBC total viewership use their brain and actually ponder some logic…lol

  • JoeTulsa

Good job congressman. However, I think congress should not get the subsidy either. Hard-working Americans don’t get a subsidy unless they are dirt poor.

    • imatellau

You forgot blaque, illegal and or moosleeem

  • rjcylon

We’re a few weeks away from many liberals saying “look, I’m a democrat, I’ve always believed in health insurance for (xyz) but I don’t think that this law is working because (xyz)”.

THAT was the “end game” that so many hen-pecked wimps to the right didn’t get.

  • grayareanarrowing

I nearly, almost, kinda, for a nano-second, but not really, felt sorry for Andrea….trying to defend the indefensible.

    Duffy is a toughie!

    • sallyjohanna

Don’t weaken..she is Obama’s mouthpiece. It is a LMSM clique, Andrea is married to Alan Greenspan. I am sure they are Washington elites that think they know best…and they better support the tyrant if they want to stay that way!

      • grayareanarrowing

Oh, I’m anything but weak, sallyj 🙂 but I do feel sorry for those who either REFUSE or CANNOT think for themselves!

As a compassionate person, I am not fooled by these incidious idiots, but my heart hurts for them…. I do pray for them.

And, I pray for Obama, that either his heart will soften and change or he will be defeated by the American People.

I sure enjoy your posts, sally. God bless you.

        • sallyjohanna

Thank you for the kind words and blessing. I too pray for God’s wisdom and guiding grace for America!

I believe God blessed America with a form of Gov’t that is unique and like no other in the world. It is a treasure to be cherished and protected. For quite some time now, we have not been very good stewards of this gift.

I always thought we had to worry about foreign enemies…never dreamed Americans would turn on the Constitution and try to destroy it from within. Especially our Journalists.

The LMSM has abdicated their role as defenders of truth in America. They have become cheerleaders and promoters for a POTUS and a party…they are no longer objective observers and documenting history. I believe they are doing this with free will and full knowledge. They have become a propaganda machine for Obama, control the media control the masses. Like Obama, they are wolves in sheep’s clothing.

God bless you and yours, God bless America. 🙂

Best quote: Andrea, don’t spin that on me!

It seems to me Obama is sending liberal idiots like Andrea to do his negotiating. And it sounds an awful lot like what Obama keeps saying. If only the Republicans would cave we could end this shutdown.

    • Stewie

I believe it’s called propaganda. It’s practically the whole media…..it’s so shameful, and Americans are so stupid.

      • brendawatkins

I believe you’re right. It’s getting harder and harder to tell the difference between the media, and Obama these days. They keep saying the same stupid things, and they all have the same stupid looks on their faces.

    • Tom of the Missouri

I am sure the MSLSD producers will never let him back on the air again. That is why most Repubics are afraid to do this. That is why McCain is on the air every week. He helps them bash Republicans. Every once in a while they slip up.

  • imatellau

Off not health care!!!!!!!! It is health INSURANCE!!!! you are not guaranteed health CARE!!! Just the privilege of not being audited or fined by the IRS!
You are forced by the gubmint to pay for OTHERS to have health ins. Your money will subsidize Obama friends and family health insurance.
Let me know how it goes when you try and see a dr. After January 1!

    • Galatiansch2vs20

I prefer the term medical insurance to health insurance, because insurance companies cannot insure good health. And under Obamadoesn’tcare, the quality of medical care and the kind of access to it is likely to deteriorate even more rapidly then when only anticipated.

  • Kevin

Andrea mitchell is another left wing reporter who supports Obama along with MSNBC. She is a blooming idiot. The congress tried to reinstate the death benefit, Obama said no.

    • smartypup

hope everyone knows that she is Greenspan’s wife. Funny how these elitists are all running together, no such thing as political parties….

  • Gary Dickson

Rep. Duffy was brilliant. As for Andrea Mitchell, I honestly pity her because she has no choice but to propagandize for Mr. Obama whether she wants to or not.

I am convinced that the “talking heads” in the main-stream media must make it abundantly clear to Obama and his soldiers that they and their employers are kissing Obama’s ring.

I am convinced that if they don’t, Obama will call the FCC chairwoman, Mignon Clyburn, to the White House and have a short chat with her along the lines of “they didn’t give me any respect.”

MSNBC will go out of business so fast, it will make their heads spin, taking Andrea Mitchell with them.

If some of you don’t believe me, look at how many times that Mr. Obama has slagged Fox News Network in public! And he’s holding his tongue in public. You can just imagine what he says in the Oval Office.

Look what Mr. Obama did to some of the Tea Party patriots through the IRS! He went after them like a wounded badger. He’ll do exactly the same thing with anyone who crosses him – including Andrea Mitchell and MSNBC – and they know it!

One of these days – I hope sooner than later, – this country is going wake up and realize how cruel and vicious Mr. Obama truly is.

    • sallyjohanna

Reminds me of the USSR. There were the elites and the impoverished. To remain elite you had to publicly pledge your allegiance to the party, or you were off to Siberia. Remember all the defections in the 60’s and 70’s. Stalin’s own daughter defected to America.

    • SurfinUSA

Don’t pity that bitch. She’s been a communist for decades.

      • Gary Dickson

I agree, but Ms. Mitchell still knows full well that her job is on the line and, just like those in other collectivist – and therefore dictatorial – regimes, she’s “only following orders”.

Don’t forget that the cruelty of collectivist regimes – like the Obama administration – knows no bounds. They even end up “eating their own” as happened in the USSR, especially during Stalin’s time.

It’s only Yeshua of Natzeret who has softened my own hard heart to be compassionate towards, and therefore pity, somebody like Ms. Mitchell.

        • SurfinUSA

I agree with you about our Lord. I can’t expend pity towards the arrogant and the tyrant. If there is a change of heart then pity and forgiveness can be extended. Mitchell is only a useful idiot to the Regime. She’ll be cannon fodder for them before the end of the day.

  • Jaels_Song

Talk to MSNBC. Its their news station and they would be the one to provide it. Not the right scoop.

      • smartypup

it is ALL outlets. No one thinks that hearing impaired individuals care about the news or learning what is happening.

  • SurfinUSA

Pound that hammer. Truth is truth. What is good for Joe the Plumber is good for Obama and Chuck U. Shumer.

  • Debra Blouin

“If we had gotten what we wanted, the single payer plan, this wouldn’t be a problem.” Mitchell quotes Sebellius. Did you hear the ownership of that idea, the assent with which she offers that justification? She is no journalist. She is a press secretary advocating the President’s agenda.

  • LastManOut

Can Right Scoop provide a transcript of the interviews and not require us to ‘click’ on the link? Doesn’t clicking on a video or website register as interest in the media and raise their Neilsen-type ratings? Help these propagandist media to just whither on the vine by not linking to their sites.

    • ryanomaniac

Its a video posted on the web. It in no way shows on Nielson ratings.

it would be nice to see a transcript as some of us are hearing impaired. I cannot understand most you tube videos.

REP. DUFFY: Andrea, that’s ridiculous. I think he said you’ve been through 18 shutdowns. I don’t know if you’ve seen a President that has come and said I’m not going to negotiate. This is historic, a President says I’m not going to sit at the table. As a guy that’s the 10th of 11 kids, families work through problems by talking and communicating, so does the government. You’re aware all we’ve asked for is the President and administration join us in Obamacare, American people in Congress and that individuals and families be treated just like big business. That’s what they are holding out for.

MITCHELL: Congressman, you’re asking him — that’s a nonnegotiable demand. Why not sit down and negotiate over entitlement reform, which is something you all have been demanding and he has offered in his initial budget. You’re putting on the table a nonnegotiable demand.

REP DUFFY: Listen, is it nonnegotiable that he’s not going to enter Obamacare? I get my gold plated health care plan but I want members of Congress and rest of America to be in Obamacare, that’s nonnegotiable? Come on. That’s not reasonable. One issue we have, the media won’t ask the question about why are you treating families different than big business. You need Jon Stewart on Comedy Central to ask Secretary Sebelius, hey, why won’t you treat these two equally and she won’t answer it. That’s how pathetic news reporting has come when they won’t ask tough questions to the administration.

MITCHELL: We’ve asked questions of both sides. That’s not fair.

DUFFY: Do you ask that question, Andrea.

MITCHELL: We have asked the question. The basic point is that —

DUFFY: Why do you want your own … and won’t join us in Obama care. That question I haven’t seen anybody ask on MSNBC. They don’t have a good answer for it. With regard to actually —

MITCHELL: The response Kathleen Sebelius gave to Jon Stewart, if we got what we wanted, a single payer plan, this wouldn’t be the problem.

DUFFY: You say I think this is what they would say but you don’t know because you haven’t asked. That’s one of the problems we have here. I think in regard to negotiating issues, Andrea, I think we can sit at the table and say if these are off the table, what is on the table, Mr. President, as we move towards the debt limit negotiation. He would say, lets talk. Maybe it’s going to be entitlement reform, maybe it’s tax reform. We’ll have all those conversations. When he says you have to give me what I want, I’m not going to talk to you, I think America looks at that and says I understand a divided government, people hard on both sides, I expect them to talk to each other and work through their differences and make it work. That’s not happening, Andrea.

MITCHELL: With all due respect this is about military death benefits to kids, 19-year-old kids who died in Afghanistan and who are not coming home, this is about what their families are entitled to by law and what they are not getting. It’s not about what you want in Obamacare and not about what the President wants on the debt ceiling.

DUFFY: Don’t spin that on me. I just told you at the top of the segment we’re going to pass a mini CR to address those benefits. We’re going to look out for military especially those families who made the ultimate sacrifice. We’re going to do that and we’re going to do it this week. You are asking me about the larger issue of why can’t people resolve this government shutdown. We have been incredibly reasonable making a small ask.

MITCHELL: You consider it a small ask he gets rid of the central part of his health care plan that was upheld by the vote, a presidential election and the United States Supreme Court.

DUFFY: Andrea, hold on. That’s your spin.

          MITCHELL: That’s not spin.

DUFFY: Listen, he gave a one-year exemption for businesses in regard to taxes and penalties on Obamacare. Everyone still can go into the exchange if they want but they aren’t penalized in big business if they don’t go in. We said for individual, families, if they want to go to Obamacare they can, for one year don’t tax or penalize them just like big businesses. That’s fair under the law. That’s all we’re asking for. He won the debate. The exchanges are up and kind of running. There’s subsidies out there. This is a small ask equity and equality under the law for individuals and families just like big business. Why won’t he join us in Obamacare. Why wasn’t Michelle Obama on October 1st at the computer with her family signing up for Obama care or Jay Carney? They have their own gold plated health care plan —

          MITCHELL: So do you.

DUFFY: I’m in Obama care, all members of Congress are and my family. The President should join us in Obamacare and the rest of the family. Is that fair? Why should members of Congress be under Obamacare and not the President, explain that one? Is that fair? Can you defend why the President should[n’t] be in Obamacare like Congress and members of staff.

MITCHELL: I can’t defend why Congress and the White House cannot figure out a way to reopen the government so that our kids and their families can get the benefits.

DUFFY: I told you we’re going to do that this week. I want viewers to know this has been a reasonable approach by our part everyone equal under the law, President, Congress, Obamacare. If it’s good for America, it’s good enough for the people who passed the law and individuals for one week — one year being treated like big business who came to the Hill with the lobbyist and got an exemption to the taxes, requirements of Obamacare, give that same treatment to the families in America. Again, this has nothing to do with the exchanges being open or subsidies in the exchanges. We’re not having any impact on those. They get to stand up and run. We’re just saying treat individuals and families like big business and have Obama go into Obamacare. That’s it. No one asked that question but Jon Stewart. I think the media should start doing its job.

    • Right_Wingnut

I doubt Scoop has time to transcribe every video word for word.

  • ryanomaniac

Finally someone smart enough to use the Left’s emotional arguments back on them. He right, why do businesses get an exemption? Why does congress get an exemption? All Republicans need to proceed this exact way and if not they are dumber than I previously thought.

    • HCTUB

Your right .He did a great job.

  • We need to see a lot, and I mean A LOT, more of this. Americans respect when politicians stand up to the mainstream media (just remember how well that worked for Newt Gingrich in the South Carolina primary, the only one he won). It’s about time that Republicans stand up to these political hacks.

  • bertram jones

Poor deer in the headlights Andrea. I love it when a “journalist” is schooled and isn’t allowed to change the topic when things get uncomfortable. She is such a tool of this administration. Did she even know she said we want a single payer system? What a disgrace for an “impartial” reporter. She need to go and give Alan a sponge bath and get out of Washington.

  • Laurel

Not on this band wagon. I think he could of done better and quite frankly Duffy isn’t all that conservative. He is only now fighting this fight because he had to thanks to Ted Cruz….ya know the one Duffy has been bashing as of late.

Look up his conservative ratings as well. They aren’t great. I do believe Heritage rates him at 61.

  • kssturgis62

Andrea Mitchell proves the Liberal Disease has destroyed her. Sean Duffy has been opening his mouth more and more, and that is because he knows they have back up finally. He knows there are more of him in the house than ever before, and they have banded together and they are strong.

Andrea give me what you want and then I will talk why won’t you do that. – Because in fact you are acting like the terrorists.

Andrea why won’t you ask Obama about the Kids and the Families about death benefits. Because I wear his bumper sticker on my head, I love the guy and must bow down to him at all times.

He may be in Obamacare and wanting to sign up – but Congress did get a 72% subsidy, and we are paying for that.

  • grumpy old man

  • lawngren

Andrea Mitchell is doing her job – she’s an obama hack. A socialist propaganda chick. Detestable. Pathologically dishonest. She’s another one who has chosen to use the socialist cause to preen herself on her own self-righteousness.

In private life, she probably pulls the wings off butterflies.

    • NYGino

“…she probably pulls the wings off butterflies.” Hysterical lawngren, truly funny. Duffy calls her out as we would like to. He asks the questions they are not used to hearing. For once I don’t have to yell at my screen, someone is addressing this scum for me.

She probably needed a shower after he showed her how truly despicable she and her fellow MSM useful idiots are.

      • lawngren

        Glad to oblige.

” For once I don’t have to yell at my screen” – I felt the same way.

Andrea’s admission (she said it out loud and proud) of the dems wanting single payer healthcare is the basis of their progressive/communist thinking……………..government control is their goal for utopia of equality. Yuck! she’s a shill.
Did you like her touch of naming a soldier killed during obama’s shutdown?- pathetic how low the LSM will stoop for their leader.

Repeal it all. Repeal Okillmekare completely. Defund Planned unParenthood (last year ovomit gave this murderous organization more than half a billion dollars)
    End the Fed.
The Federal Reserve is not a Government organization. Its policies are responsible for inflation, depressions and recessions, right now the Fed is printing 85 billion a month, so called quantitative easing, nothing but making US currency worthless.

End the Federal Department of unEducation. Since its inception under the Carter administration the overall academic achievements across the country have gone steadily downward.

Most of all: end obama. Impeach, imprison, execute; him, holder, and clintion for high crimes and treason… let me count the ways. Benghazi, IRS scandal, Fast and Furious, AP scandal, NSA scandal, sealed records scandal, Seal team Six, unconstitutional Czars (45), unconstitutional executive orders….
