Editor of Politico: Ted Cruz is EXTRAORDINARILY unlikely to win GOP nomination

The Diane Rehm Show took a couple of minutes to discuss the ‘electability’ of Ted Cruz, with NPR’s own White House correspondent suggesting that it is definitely possible for Cruz to win and that he shouldn’t be counted out.

But the then Editor of Politico chimed in to brush all that away, calling it an alternative version of the hard core belief by most Republicans that Ted Cruz simply cannot win the nomination. She cites their own ‘insider’ polling of Republican activists in Iowa and New Hampshire and said that none of them believe Ted Cruz can win.

She then gave her own personal opinion and said Cruz is extraordinarily unlikely to win the GOP nomination. Of course.

Watch:

Seems like I remember a time in recent past when nobody believed Rick Santorum could win Iowa or would be competitive in the run for the GOP nomination. And they were wrong. And such is this type of analysis this early in the game.

I would just say to every pundit out there, don’t underestimate Ted Cruz. He will surprise you.
