Social media is reeling from the horrific, apocalyptic news that mediocre defensive end but historic gay NFL player Michael Sam has been cut from the team by the obviously homophobic St. Louis Rams. To be fair, it really seems like most of the comments made are sarcastic - very few are dumb enough to actually accuse the St. Louis Rams of homophobia, but I wouldn't put it past certain zealously politicized segments of this society.
