Tragedy is that not many in this country have watched this speech, and is the reason why we are where we are, and I don’t know how to solve this problem, how do we beat Hollywood, AP, Reuters, Google, Yahoo, NY Times and other Newspapers, NBC, ABC, CNN, CBS, Yale, Howard, Oxford, etc.

    • PVG

odin147 By everyone sending this to everyone they know!

    • JohnCraven

Well, how did Jesus and His apostles overcome the most cruel empire ever known – Ancient Rome?  Especially after Jesus died on a cross, hung between two thieves and his desciples went into hiding in the upper room afraid of their own shadows?
How did Jesus’ followers in our time overcome the evil of the Axis powers – Nazi Germany, fascist Italy and Imperial Japan or the “evil empire” the Soviet Union?
Our task is daunting and made more so by politicians who stand for nothing and fight for nothing and inspire nothing and aspire to nothing.  There is no denying that.  But it is no less daunting than it ever was in Jesus’ time.
First I think we have to trust in God and pray for guidance and then let God lead us where He will.  It isn’t easy but as Bill Whittle pointed out even a small candle burning in the Superdome is enough light to dispel the darkness.  And it is the truth that sets us free.

JohnCraven Beautifully stated…I often think this struggle is a test of our metal.  It is sad to think it has come to this.  I believe the Constitution was a God given gift and if not corrupted by men, it is a salvation for men.  A chance to prove mankind deserves to be free, have liberty and create happiness for all.

  • JimLand

Poor Bill.  Everyone left him hanging.

    • DebbyX

Bill doesn’t need anyone’s help………….thank you very much.

  • SpikeT

To all the sadly, brain washed Students Of The Week; “phone home”…..to America, or surrender your phones.
    Whittle was in mega-afterburner mode.

  • PressWatchusa

I wish he would run for President

    • Conservative_Utopia

PressWatchusa Whittle ain’t running,  but nice to know West has him and Zo in his corner.

  • freechic

If I wasn’t already married…..I would want to marry this man!
Bill, you nailed it as always my friend.

  • PVG

    Breitbart Lives!!!!

  • Stehekin912

Bill Whittle is amazing!  Another National Treasure (like Mark Levin!)

    • Patriotickev

      Stehekin912 I agree,

  • Desjardins

    Brilliant, a must see.

  • Conservative_Hippie

Bill Whittle is without a doubt one of the most brilliant conservative thinkers of our time!

  • notsofastthere

Now that’s motivation, inspiration, and truth. How unfortunate Boehner and McConnell don’t have Whittle’s passion or sense of clarity and strength of conviction.

    • PoCoTex

notsofastthere  Mr. Boenher and Mr. McConnell are corrupted by the vast governmental power they have at their disosal and by the vast amounts of money – trillions of dollars – at their disposal.
It is astonishing how power and money makes people very conscious of, and very sensitive to, their positions.

People like Mr. Whittle, Sarah Palin, and Mark Levin can more easily speak truth because they are currently not in positions of governmental power that would corrupt them.

      • FutureOnePercent

PoCoTex notsofastthere Like Mr Whittle has even said himself. It’s not about getting the “right” people in power. It’s the corruption that power brings that is the issue… Men were not meant to rule other men. Our corruptible nature precludes our ability to lead others without selfishness. So are more conscious than others about their human nature though.

        • lawngreen

FutureOnePercent PoCoTex notsofastthere And although every human with power misuses it at some point, there are some who are much more successful than others in controlling their selfish ego and their evil impulses. The key is to have a strong moral guide and strong moral assistance. I commend faith in Jesus Christ to those searching for these.

  • arizonagolfer

Very nice. I wish I could express myself off the cuff as eloquently as people like Bill Whittle, Mark Levin,
Alan West, Ted Cruz and others cut from the same Constitutional cloth.

    • hbnolikeee

arizonagolfer Get yourself a teleprompter like Duh Bumberl and yer good to go.

    • lawngreen

arizonagolfer  I suspect that a great deal of study and practice made Bill Whittle what he is. I seriously doubt that his extreme competence is just the result of natural talent. Steven King wrote, “Talent is like a knife. Some of us are given a big knife, and some of us are given a small knife. No one is ever given a sharp knife.”

If it’s truly important to you to be able to respond off the cuff like Whittle, try and keep trying, even if you embarrass yourself at times. You will improve. If you study the principles of rhetoric (argument), take debate classes, and study what “the other side” believes, you will at least improve your ability significantly.
You may be one of those whose skills do not lie in the verbal realm. If so, don’t feel guilty or inadequate or worthless. I always wanted to be a Special Forces soldier or a police officer, but physical limitations prevented it. It was many years past my youth before I realized that my verbal skills could make me helpful to other people. I struggled for years with a lack of self-respect. Don’t let that happen to you. Everyone has something of value to contribute to their society.
There is an out-of-print book that is more help in discovering what you were born for than all other career guides I have encountered. The book is called “The Great Niche Hunt”. You can find used copies online cheap. If you don’t know where your skills lie, or you can’t find the right job, read it and complete the “exam” in the book. You may be shocked at the answers it gives you. I was. Unfortunately, I discovered it too late.

  • clubgitmo

So far so good. Bill is excellent.

  • PoCoTex

There’s one other aspect of the Left / progressives / collectivists that Mr. Whittle could have mentioned, i.e., their unconstrained and unlimited evil.
Many conservatives have taken upon themselves constraints of behaviour, those constraints coming mostly from the Bible. For example, the Bible tells us not to lie (i.e., be honest), not to envy, not to murder, love your neighbour as yourself, bless your enemy, have equal weights and measures, forgive, etc., etc. In my view, the constraints on human behaviour in the Bible provide the foundation for a civil society.

In most cases, the Left reject, or do not recognize, those constraints. Thus, they are able to lie and slander with impunity. They are easily able to label someone a racist, a homophobe, or an Islamophobe without any hindrance, whether or not it is true. They will even physically attack and destroy, if that meets their ends.

In my view, the “counter-attack” is to allow the Spirit of God and his power – not mine – to speak through me, using the Word of God as the “sword given by the Spirit”.

Finally, grow powerful in union with the Lord, in union with his mighty strength! Use
all the armor and weaponry that God provides, so that you will be able
to stand against the deceptive tactics of the Adversary. For
we are not struggling against human beings, but against the rulers,
authorities and cosmic powers governing this darkness, against the
spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realm. So
take up every piece of war equipment God provides; so that when the
evil day comes, you will be able to resist; and when the battle is won,
you will still be standing. Therefore, stand! Have the belt of truth buckled around your waist, put on righteousness for a breastplate, and wear on your feet the readiness that comes from the Good News of shalom. Always carry the shield of trust, with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the Evil One. And take the helmet of deliverance; along with the sword given by the Spirit, that is, the Word of God; as
you pray at all times, with all kinds of prayers and requests, in the
Spirit, vigilantly and persistently, for all God’s people.  — Ephesians 6 (CJB)

    • lawngreen

PoCoTex I think Bill Whittle misses this because he is himself not a Christian, although he is respectful of genuine Christians. This is a serious weakness in a purely secular worldview, first because it does not recognize the evil tendencies of humans and the way to correct those, second because there is another enemy who is extremely powerful and authoritative, and is constantly working for his own purposes contrary to virtue: Satan and the demons.
IMO, we are in “the last Days” before the Great Tribulation. This is important politically, because the Bible warns us, “And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming.” ( 2nd Thess. 2:6-8)
Bill Whittle understands the human part of the equation very well. He is totally unprepared to deal with the spiritual side of what the late Donald Barnhouse called “the Invisible War”.

    • LoJoFo

PoCoTex Another good Biblical constraint:  not to think more highly of oneself than one ought.

  • http://nation.foxnews.com/ sallyjohanna

This needs to go viral in the Colleges and Universities!  Maybe shake a lot of the fairy dust off of the students that have been indoctrinated and don’t even know it!  Maybe enough to save our great nation.
I love the RS for putting up videos the MSM will not!   I come here and usually find a salve for my battle wounds.  Listen to common sense Conservative voices of reason.  Long live America and help her defeat Socialism!  Bill Whittle is one of the smartest and most articulate patriots we have…. excellent speech!

    • JohnCraven

      Ditto! sallyjohanna! Ditto!

    Bravo….!

    • lawngreen

LibCrusher   Those mopes will never take heed, and I wouldn’t trust them now even if they appeared to take heed. They need to be replaced.

  • chris3

Facebook suspended me foo 12 hours too. Because I commented on a bikini video. They are surely progressives. Gotta embed.

  • CalCoolidge

Have to disagree, Bill.  You say they are for redistribution, but not for their own stuff – and that means they are not socialists?  That means they ARE socialists.  Wanting the rules to apply to everyone else and being exempted is exactly what all these pinheads have in common.  That includes both the ones with power who want to be exempted for Obamacare, and the ones at the bottom who want to be exempted from work.  Redistribution was ALWAYS about other people’s stuff.

    • 1tootall

You missed his point; listen again!!

    • lawngreen

CalCoolidge  But they don’t want to acknowledge their own selfishness, or conservatism, as Whittle calls it. What Whittle is saying is, force them to face their own hypocrisy. If it has been unconscious hypocrisy, once they see it, after an internal mental, logical struggle, they will give it up, admit the truth, and become openly conservative. If it was conscious hypocrisy / selfishness, they will 1) be unmasked in front of all who hear and 2) begin to be afraid of speaking out for fear they will again be made ineffective and maybe ashamed.

    Bill Whittle/Col West ticket 2016.

    • Lee0521

I wish I was an American. I would vote for that ticket!

Lee0521 I don’t know where you live but in the US we have dead people who vote and usually  there Demorats.

  • JungleCogs

    He is the best.

  • lawngreen

I agree, Scoop, this is a fantastic speech. I’ve passed it on to many of my contacts who will know how to apply it.

  • DINOright

Man I bet that boot-camp was awesome! LOVE Bill Whittle!

  • Elanadowns

    Inspiring as always

  • Tamikosmom

    PoCoTex
Could it be that Bill Whittle may have a foundation that he is deriving his Conservative/Biblical principles and values from but at this point in time has not felt personally convicted to bow and reach up.  In other words … this man is definitely a work in progress.  Keep Bill in our prayers.  Ephesians 6:10-18

  • BruceAllenHedrick

He’s so close and yet so far away from the real solution. Before any meaningful change can happen we must first repeal the 17th Amendment; from there only will we have a platform to constitutional recovery.

  • ranchdancer

I would much rather hear B.Whittle than Carl Rove and his stats or any other  pundit. Everything he says makes sense, it is honest and frank and simple to understand. Now I am sure that he makes a ton of money doing the boot camps etc.and he should.  The Republican party, must employ this man, if we are to stand any chance of winning the Senate and  keeping the House. If I had a choice to see Whittle, O’Reilly or Hannity  I would choose Bill Whittle. His messages are useful as well as inspiring. We need to see more of him regardless of the $$.

  • CalCoolidge

1tootall I understood it perfectly.  Heard before.  Seen it tried.  A thousand times.

  • CalCoolidge

lawngreen CalCoolidge  It’s not that simple.

  • JohnCraven

Lawngreen, I actually think the Big Whigs in the GOP want to be replaced but not with conservatives but with other democrats.  I think the GOP has been throwing the elections for quite a while now.  It is what the Big Whigs do best.  I think Romney threw the election.  I think McCain threw the election.  I think they will throw the towel in on anything because they would prefer to lose to marxist democrats and megalomaniacs like Nero Obama than win with conservative, God-fearing, TEA Partiers who stand for something, who fight for something – our Constitution and our nation.  The ruling elites of the GOP prefer to lose to lies than to win with the truth.
    John Craven – New Orleans

  • lawngreen

CalCoolidge lawngreen You’re right, but it’s an effective way to begin.

  • lawngreen

JohnCraven Your analysis may be correct. If so, I think a big factor is an old attitude in politics – “If we lose, the dems will foul things up so bad that we’ll look good and next time people will vote for us again.”
This is the easy way. The lazy way. It means (if successful) that they don’t have to work or fight or defend their policies and pork, and they can continue their corrupt ways when “their turn” comes up again.

  • 1tootall

CalCoolidge 1tootall Again, it went right over your head.  And I don’t know WHO has tried it…guess you’re way too smart for that.  sorry to bother you.

  • OILDANCE

This is awesome, but I do NOT share his opinion of Allen West.  Allen West will not support the investigation of the forged birth certificate investigation because he is more interested in his personal political goals than pursing the truth and saving this country!  Period.
