First post-debate poll shows Trump STILL needs a miracle

In the first poll since the third and final debate Wednesday night, Hillary still leads Trump by six points showing it didn’t have the miraculous impact Trump was hoping it would have:

WASHINGTON TIMES – A Politico/Morning Consult survey showed Mrs. Clinton leads Mr. Trump by a 42 percent to 36 percent margin, followed by 9 percent for Libertarian Gary Johnson and 4 percent for Green Party candidate Jill Stein.

The poll also found 43 percent of registered voters believed the Democrat won the third debate compared to 26 percent who believe the Republican won the showdown.

And there’s more:

POLITICO – An overwhelming majority of voters — 68 percent — think the loser of the 2016 presidential election should accept the results of the race, according to a new POLITICO/Morning Consult poll conducted after the final presidential debate.

Just 14 percent of voters said they thought the loser should challenge the results, as Donald Trump continues to decline to say if he’ll accept the Election Day outcome.

It was clear when the debate was over, despite having a good debate, that Trump didn’t do well enough to get the bump he needed to put him on a path to victory. So we’ll see what happens between now and election day, but it doesn’t look good for man who claims to be the best at winning.
