Police have locked down a Florida mall where gunshots rang out and two were injured before the gunman killed himself this morning.

Gunfire erupted inside the Melbourne Square Mall on Saturday morning, killing one person and injuring two others.
Authorities with the Melbourne Police Department said the shooting happened just before 10 a.m. They said the shooter has been contained, and the mall was being cleared store by store.
A witness said the shooting happened in the mall’s food court and said two people were injured before the gunman shot himself.
Investigators said the gunman was the person who died.
The witness said five or six shots were fired.
Police said the mall has been closed, and employees were asked to exit through back doors. Investigators from the FBI, West Melbourne and Palm Bay Police Departments were on scene late morning.
Police say they have the situation under control.
