Gawker reveals Lena Dunham’s ‘Republican’ rapist is actually…. a Democrat

As if the continuing saga of Lena Dunham’s wretched life and book couldn’t get any worse, it took the leftist trolls at Gawker to reveal that the guy she accused of raping her in college was someone entirely, and that she smeared a Republican when the guy was most likely a Democrat.

From Gawker, Who Is Lena Dunham’s Alleged Rapist?

Dunham didn’t invent a rapist character out of thin air, as the conservative writers have implied. The 2012 proposal for Not That Kind of Girl recounted the same night of unwanted unprotected sex—and supplied enough specific biographical detail to identify the man being described.

His name is Philip Samuel Ungar, a 2006 graduate of Oberlin. Now 30, he’s the son of former All Things Considered host and retired Goucher College president Sanford J. Ungar. Dunham has never explicitly named him, but his biography closely aligns with her characterization of her alleged rapist—“His father was actually the former host of NPR’s All Things Consideredin an early draft of the chapter where she describes being assaulted.

Wow. Can you lawsuit? I hope the Republican guy she accidentally identified as a rapist can, and he says it to his lawyer.

Ironically, it was precisely because of analysis of the book by libertarian Kevin Williamson at National Review, and reporting from John Nolte at Breitbart that forced Gawker to “defend” Dunham, by revealing the guy does exist, but he’s a different guy. Kinda funny huh?

Geez, Lena Dunham continues to prove that she IS the gross face of lying, pathetic, self-obsessed feminism.
