Sultan Erdogan is defying history today by declaring that the Turkish republic is really just a continuation of the Ottoman Empire:
“The Republic of Turkey, just like our previous states that are a continuation of one another, is also a continuation of the Ottomans,” Erdoğan said in remarks he made during a commemoration ceremony to mark the centenary of the death of Ottoman Sultan Abdulhamid II at the Yıldız Palace in Istanbul.
“Of course, the borders have changed. Forms of government have changed… But the essence is the same, soul is the same, even many institutions are the same.”
He even balks at the year 1923, when the secular Turkish Republic began:
“Some people insistently try to start this country’s history from 1923. Some unrelentingly try to break us from our roots and ancient values,” he added.
It’s essential that people wake up and listen because Erdogan is telling the world that the Ottomans are back. He’s telegraphing to everyone that his new version of the Ottoman Empire is almost here.
As we’ve shown you before, every year at the end of May, on the anniversary of the conquest of Constantinople, Erdogan holds a massive rally in Istanbul announcing that he is resurrecting the Ottoman Empire. And his plan is to officially announce the new Ottoman Empire in 2023. That’s just five years away.
But more importantly this is what the holy scripture predicted many millennia ago. Erdogan is resurrecting the fatally wounded head (empire) of the beast in Revelation 13. He’s putting feet on the legs of Iron, the fourth empire of Daniel 2. The Antichrist kingdom is rising and it’s all happening before our eyes.
Now of course, let me remind you that I’m not saying this is definitely happening. I’m not a seer and cannot see the future. Erdogan could die tomorrow and his Ottoman dreams with him. It could be another 50 years before his vision of a resurrected Ottoman Empire actually happens.
But if this is what it looks like, and I believe it is, then we are witnessing a huge fulfillment of scripture which leads to the end of the world and the long awaited second coming of Christ our Lord.
As a side note: if this is all new to you and, perhaps confusing, I wrote a Bible Prophecy Primer almost two years ago that will explain it to you in much more detail.
