‘GET RID OF THE COURT!’ – One presidential candidate’s response to the gay ruling

I won’t keep you in suspense – it was BOBBY JINDAL who said, “if the court is gonna say that words have no money, then let’s save some money and get rid of the Supreme Court.”

Watch below:

Now that’s the full quote of Jindal’s but if you go to the Hill, you’ll only see parts of it, making it seem like he was saying that without any conditional statement:

Gov. Bobby Jindal (R-La.) condemned the Supreme Court on Friday following its ruling legalizing same-sex marriage nationwide.

“The Supreme Court is completely out of control, making laws on their own, and has become a public opinion poll instead of a judicial body,” the 2016 contender said in a statement.

“If we want to save some money, let’s just get rid of the court,” Jindal added.

But that’s NOT what he said. He said IF the Supreme Court is going to rule based on words having no meaning, THEN we should get rid of it.” Obviously this is a rhetorical point and not a policy position, but the media will do anything it can to misrepresent Republicans.
