Gov Greg Abbott on Air Force Error: We don’t need MORE gun control laws, we need current laws COMPLIED with…

Mark Levin had Governor Greg Abbott on his show tonight to discuss the Texas church massacre. While on the show, Abbott brought up the breaking news on how the Air Force failed to submit Kelley’s domestic violence offense into the NCIC database and responded to it in the interview:

Abbott says this Air Force error weakens the gun control arguments being made today, pointing out that the laws to prevent Kelley from legally purchasing a gun were already on the books but weren’t complied with.

Abbott adds that if the laws had been complied with, it probably would have prevented the massacre. He said ‘probably’ noting that someone who is willing to break the law to kill someone is also likely to be willing to obtain a gun illegally.
