Graham finally starts acting like a conservative. Can you tell that he is up for reelection in 2014? He did a good job in this clip, but he is no conservative.
Hagel has been a populist dissenter against Bush as war became unpopular, parroting criticisms of the left. Striking that he cannot back up ANY of those criticisms, or cannot honestly defend them and expect to be nominated. Like Obama, past statements have nothing to do with current pose and must be dismissed! Basic dishonesty of what they believe and policies they would support are not compatible with Americans or any mainstream political position.
More and more, I am seeing the Republicans starting to understand that the only way to deal with lying BS experts is to take it right to them.
That. to me, is what Romney did in the first debate. And, what he failed to do in the subsequent ones...
With 4 years and a clear track record of covering for Obama, rather than defending him .... makes these sycophant "CAIR" backed front men ... "ripe" for the taking...

He sounds like Neville Chamberlain. At best, he's delusional. At worst, he is a clear and present danger to our liberty and military forces.
The Iranian Government openly supported Obama for president and now Hagel for Secretary of Defense. McCain and his lapdog Grahamnesty cower in the presence of The One and attack Hagel, as they should, because his position is the same as Obama's. Political hypocrisy gets nauseating when RINOs can't stand the sight of each other. The Rinos are pathetic.
Graham, Paula and Rubio are acting tough right now to soften up conservatives for their amnesty vote. I'd rather see Jane Fonda confirmed as SOS and Kerry as SOD than see amnesty pass.
To be fair I just looked up the new definition for terrorist next to it it said, Freedom loving ,Patriotic American, who loves God, Country , Family ....
Why does graham do this and then vote cart Blanche on the nomination? He talks big, but does not vote accordingly.
Graham has his good moments, and this certainly was one of them. He made Hagel look foolish. In fact, I'm not seeing any shining moments for Hagel today and why anybody would vote for him for Secretary of Defense. I'm also not hearing any reasons why this guy is qualified to BE Secretary of Defense. Is the mainstream media going to lug this loser over the finish line as well? You bet they are. After all, it's for Obama.
Hagel is a wuss and has absolutely no courage. The hems and haws are indicative of someone without conviction. I would not put him in charge of the janitorial service let alone the Dept of Defense. No wonder Obama wants him because he'd be a lapdog. Here, you go Chuckie a biscuit for your time and now get out of the seat and go home.
I have lots of issues with Graham, but he asked the kind of questioning the people need to hear. He collected a pattern of Hagel that indicates the thinking and actions that Hagel has taken. Now that's information and connecting the dots.
Right. I don't want an action figure of him like I do Ted Cruz, but it's hard not to like him sometimes. It's about 50:50 for me. He was good at the gun control hearing. He said he owns an AR-15 in that hearing. I wonder if it's meaner looking than mine. I was picturing him holding it and it made me smile.
I was shocked, yes I'll admit shocked, to hear Senator Graham say he has an AR-15 and the way he defended our 2nd Amendment and especially the rights for a citizen to determine what they need to defend themselves made me smile.
I think Senator Graham is one we can work on with other issues if we present him with the facts.
Exactly! He'll lose it over his love of illegal aliens. If we could convince him (or if Trey Gowdy stands strong on convinces him) of the true impacts of rewarding illegal aliens maybe, just maybe he could stay.
The thing with Graham is he doesn't want to lose his j o b next year so he's trying to make sure he puts on a good show.
If only Graham would take this strong of a stance protecting the American citizens from the influx of illegal aliens.
I'm not reading too much into this. He's just all excited because the donkeys told Lindsey he could be on the top today.
No, he is up for reelection in just over a year and a half and he is going to have a challenge in repub primary, so he is playing conservative. Don't be fooled, this is self preservation.
Graham and McCain?--This is the best we've got? This is what's left after 250 years of heroes killing the enemies of America and sacrificing their lives for our freedom? Graham and McCain?
Seems like you could set a couple of Sears' Wet-Vacs on "blow" and get the same effect for less than half the money.
