People typically say what they thought. What he says now isn't what he thought at the time, or else he would have said it. But I do agree that he would like to have the ability to change what he said--not because it isn't what he thought, but because he doesn't want people to know that's what he thought.

It seems to me the entire charade that we have a representative government, has been dropped.

All that is needed for President or Cabinet or any Agency head is to put a loyal near-intelligent appearing political yes-man in place who will take orders from the puppet masters.
