Here are the members that have announced they are voting against Boehner for Speaker

The Washington Post reports on the current members who say they will vote against Boehner for Speaker of the House:

Rep. Louie Gohmert (Texas)
Rep. Ted Yoho (Fla.)
Rep. Steve King (Iowa)
Rep. Jim Bridenstine (Okla.)
Rep. Dave Brat (Va.) (freshman)
Rep. Walter Jones (N.C.)
Rep. Gary Palmer (Ala.) (freshman)
Rep. Thomas Massie (Ky.)
Rep. Paul Gosar (Ariz.)
Rep. Marlin Stutzman (Ind.)

Several of these members voted against Boehner in 2013. There are a couple more who WaPo says voted against Boehner in 2013 but so far haven’t said what they are doing tomorrow:

Rep. Steve Pearce (N.M.)
Rep. Justin Amash (Mich.)

They also report that there are three congressmen who voted against Boehner in 2013 but have said they will vote for him in 2015:

Rep. Mick Mulvaney (S.C.)
Rep. Raul Labrador (Idaho)
Rep. Tim Huelskamp (Kan.)

In short, they conclude so far that it looks like only 12 possible votes for someone other than Boehner.

But I say the day is young and hope more will announce they will vote against Boehner before tomorrow’s vote. Remember, the votes needed to oust Boehner is 29 (assuming no Democrats vote for Boehner).

We’ll bring you more on this as it develops.
