I happened across this story a couple days ago and I just couldn’t believe how far we’ve come in the age of political correctness and tolerance. Actually, it really isn’t tolerance anymore, it’s celebration.

So in this video this local FOX news anchor refers to this couple as a gay couple. But in reality it’s a man and a woman. But that’s politically incorrect to say because one of the ‘two dads’ is really a transgender male, which means he is really a she. So the news anchor refers to them as ‘two dads’ and calls them a gay couple.
What makes this even more absurd (if that’s even possible) is that the transgender male (born a female) is pregnant – which emphasises even moreso that the he is really a she. So this local FOX news outlet headlines the article on their site “Portland transgender man pregnant with son”, as if that’s something totally groundbreaking or new. But it’s not, because he is really a she and thus she is having a baby in their weirdly described gay marriage.
It’s almost so absurd that it’s funny, even though it’s really not because it’s a reflection of just how corrupt our culture has become. We’re long past the slippery slope.
Anyway, you can use this as an open thread if you like. I mean really, why not.
