The Trump administration is just running Carter Page through the mud now. In this clip, Trump spokesmoron Jason Miller mocks him openly as an idiot. Mind you, he’s an idiot that Trump literally cited as a foreign policy advisor when bragging about all the smart people on his campaign.

It’s pretty telling how Carl Bernstein lights into Miller for his hypocrisies, and all he can do is roll his eyes. Bernstein really lays out the problem with anonymous sources, and with acting as if there’s no reason to be concerned at all about the Russian story.
They refer to how even the Russians trying to get intelligence out of Carter Page called him an idiot. Here’s the earlier clip where they talk about that:
I gotta tell ya, Jason Miller is the LAST guy that should go around calling people idiots.
I kinda feel bad for Page, though, to be honest, if you watch his interviews, it’s hard to think he’s anything other than pretty much an idiot. But does that mean the Russians couldn’t use him to infiltrate the Trump campaign, especially when he’s been so sympathetic to the Russian anti-American worldview?
