Last week a white man was attacked and struck in the head by an apparent racist black man who had declared “the next white person that walks by I’m going to f**k”. Lashawn Marten then slammed his fist into 62-year-old Jeffrey Babbitt’s head, sending him to the ground. Witnesses said they could hear his skull hitting the ground. He was rushed to the hospital but doctors said he was in a coma and brain dead. Unfortunately Babbitt has officially died today. He was the sole care provider for his 92 year old mother.
Marten was arrested and being held on 1 million dollar bond. Below is his photo in the police car:
