Hostage freed from Afghanistan says terrorists killed his infant daughter, raped his wife

Joshua Boyle and his family have been freed from the Haqani Network, terrorists who have ties to the Taliban and kidnap people for ransom. While he and his wife were in captivity, they had four children, three of whom survived.

He says that his infant daughter was murdered by the terrorists, and that his wife was raped:

Some people find his statements very odd, and are questioning their veracity. Some are resorting to conspiracy theories to explain them, but that seems to be the first resort of many instead of looking for simpler answers.

Boyle says he and his wife went to help poor Afghanis and were captured by the Haqanis while the wife was pregnant. Some are wondering if it wasn’t completely by force that they were kidnapped.

They are definitely acting weird. But weirdness is not enough to accuse people of terrorism. It could just be that they were under such duress that it severely affected how they react now that they’re free.

He was indeed previously married to a woman with terror ties. So, is it all a coincidence? I have to say that without more evidence, yes. Don’t trust twitter memes. They often exaggerate in order to reach their literally outrageous conclusions….
