I saw a tweet today that suggested that each taxpayer owes $138,345 to payoff our enormous national debt of $15,671,202,480,642 trillion dollars. But the way our current tax code is, there’s no way that would be evenly distributed to each taxpayer. So I did the math and here’s what each taxpayer would owe, depending on what tax bracket you are in. And it might be a lot more or less than you would think:

    FORWARD into UNSUSTAINABLE DEBT!

  • Rightstuff1

This is an awesome table. The figures are so revealing and explode the myth that the top 1% or 5% or 10% don’t pay their “fair share”. 10% of the taxpayers in this country pay 70% of all the taxes and thats not enough for the left and their leader – O-zero. While the bottom 50% pay 2%. You couldn’t make this up.

    Thanks for posting this Scoop.

    • Rshill7

Right, not only do they pay much, much more than their fair share, they pay the share of the bottom 50% too. What’s fair about that? In addition, many in the bottom 50% actually receive money from the treasury. It’s not just that most of them pay zero in federal taxes, they take/receive what those in the top 50% pay.
If that’s fair, the word needs redefining.

Guess I need to get 2 more jobs.
Wait, this is from 2009? Or the tax bracket is from 2009.
Either way, I need to get 2 more jobs…

    • Rshill7

There are no tax brackets on the chart :-)

  • 12grace

Take it out of obama’s stash!

  • Sober_Thinking

You can’t get blood from a stone. Get the balance from the “undertaxed” – the 50% who haven’t been paying any taxes. Let them work it off if necessary. The rest of us are already taxed out.

  • Hooliganz513

I’ll be standing behind all the welfare queens waiting to pay their “fair” share

Wanna save more money for the American people, obama? Stop throwing our tax dollars away on programs that enslave the American people like the TSA and the Unions and your friends that have benefited from the unconstitutional system.

Rand Paul has a quick fix for TSA: Pull the plug

Rand Paul has a reform plan for the Transportation Security Administration: Scrap the whole thing.
A personal message from Paul (R-Ky.) came atop emails this week from the Campaign for Liberty Vice President Matt Hawes, asking for readers to sign a petition in support of Paul’s “End the TSA” bill. A Paul spokeswoman said that legislation is being finalized next week.
“Every inch of our person has become fair game for government thugs posing as ‘security’ as we travel around the country. Senator Rand Paul has a plan to do away with the TSA for good, but he needs our help,” reads the petition, which also asks signers to “chip in a contribution to help C4L mobilize liberty activists across America to turn the heat up on Congress and end the TSA’s abuse of our rights.”
Paul was stopped by the TSA before a flight from Nashville earlier this year, causing him to miss a flight — and a big speech at the March for Life in Washington. Paul referred to the incident in his fundraising email.
“The American people shouldn’t be subjected to harassment, groping, and other public humiliation simply to board an airplane. As you may have heard, I have some personal experience with this, and I’ve vowed to lead the charge to fight back,” Paul wrote at the top of a C4L fundraising pitch, according to blogs that received the email. “Campaign for Liberty is leading the fight to pressure Congress to act now and restore our liberty. It’s time to END the TSA and get the government’s hands back to only stealing our wallets instead of groping toddlers and grandmothers.”
A representative for TSA did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Paul’s spokeswoman said in an email that in addition to the “End the TSA” legislation, Paul is working on “multiple” TSA bills, including one to privatize the service as well as a passenger bill of rights. Ending the TSA has been a presidential campaign plank of Rand Paul’s father, Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas), who started the political organization C4L. And last week, Rep. Paul Broun (R-Ga.) called on TSA Administrator John Pistole to step down.

Tens of thousands to fly to Rio to discuss how to limit greenhouse gas emissions

As with any U.N. climate conference, standard “hold on to your wallet” rules apply. While you’re doing that, try and predict the size of this carbon footprint:
Some of the main proposals in a draft text for negotiation at a U.N. sustainable development conference next month are being watered down at informal talks in New York, observers said on Tuesday, heightening fears the summit will fail to deliver.
The Rio+20 summit in Brazil from June 20-22 is expected to draw more than 50,000 participants from governments, companies and environmental and lobby groups.
It will try to hammer out sustainable development goals across seven core themes including food security, water and energy but is not expected to produce mandatory targets.
After watching how many summits around the world these jet-set people travel to, I can solve Al Gore’s “climate crisis” with a two word recommendation: Web conferencing.

D.C. proposes more money for illegal immigrant care

    wjla.com
posted on alipac also see the new gheen report

WASHINGTON (AP) – The discussion over whether District of Columbia benefits for illegal immigrants are too generous could heat up.

That’s because a D.C. Council committee agreed Thursday to set aside $20.5 million to continue offering illegal immigrants free health insurance. The move comes as other city government services are being reduced.

The Washington Post reports that the full council is expected to accept the agreement when it votes on the budget later this month. D.C. Council member David A. Catania says the money represented savings from eliminating some vacant positions, recalculating Medicaid enrollment and transferring some funds between Health Department units.

The newspaper says the move reverses a proposal by Mayor Vincent C. Gray that could have restricted illegal immigrants from receiving emergency care.

Perhaps if our tax dollars were not being spent on immoral groups like Planned Parenthood, our national debt would be greatly reduced and our country would be restored to honor.

    Noah’s Ark
Prophecy Sign: As in the days of Noah and Lot.Prophecy Sign: One fact is very clear when you are talking about the last day signs. Jesus in Matthew 24: 37-39 concerning what the last generation would be like just prior to His second coming is compared to both Noah’s generation and Lots. Both of these peoples turned from God and followed their own lusts and became evil people. We know part of Noah’s generation troubles came on them when they turned to homosexuality. How do we know this? Notice that Jesus compared Noah’s day to Sodom and Gomorrah and then linked it to the time of his return. I quote our Lord. Luke 17: 25-30. “But first must He [Christ] suffer many things and be rejected by this generation. 26And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of Man: 27They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28“Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; 29but the same day that Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. 30“Even thus shall it be in the Day when the Son of Man is revealed.”
“Following the Episcopal Church’s likely approval of a liturgy blessing same-sex relationships at its summer convention, a Montrose congregation will be among the first to offer gay and lesbian couples this rite, the Rt. Rev. Andy Doyle announced this week. Doyle, bishop of the Texas Diocese, named St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church as the first in Houston to be allowed to offer the proposed ceremonies for same-sex covenants” (Huston Chronicle Newsat chorn.com April 26, 2012).

To be honest with you I’m not very religious.

      Explanation….
I used to be an athiest until after many times pondering on the extreme complexity of the human body, nature and everything in it. Science has no explanation for any of it. It just is, and we basically arose out of dust.

Not only does every being in nature have an extremely complex design (whether it be a plant, a bug, a human, oxygen, or an animal), everything also works together in a chain or one relies on the existence of the other.

Basically, what hit me was “which came first, the chicken or the egg?”. It’s a silly riddle but is actually quite serious and mind boggling. It’s an impossible scenario that can only be explained by having a creator.

So, now I am a firm believer in G-d. However, I still struggle with religion because I view it as being man-made….something man created to explain the unkown.

But the more I hear of the prophesies in the Bible it’s hard to ignore that there’s more there than just ramblings of lost souls looking for explanations.

It’s scary stuff, and if the Bible is correct we have got to be getting close to the end days.

I apologize for rambling on about my views.

You are right, religion is Man made. However Christianity is what God wrought through Christ Jesus. Read the book of Acts new testament King James Version of the Bible.

        • kong1967

My brother is a minister, too. Imagine that, lol.

We might have to have another meeting of the minds and talk about the prophesies in the Bible.

      • 12grace
        • kong1967

Ok, now you got my attention. I didn’t like what I read….at all. Everything seems to be falling right into line with the prophesies.

Several things are off still, but are developing to head in that direction.

Israel is expected to be caught unsuspecting, which suggests the head butting with Iran, Hezzbollah, the Palestinians and whoever else will probably happen before the end times, Israel survives and believes it’s over. (???). Russia sure is investing in Iran, though.

The U.S. is expected to not be Israel’s ally at the end days.
The U.S. has not abandoned Israel, but Obama only supports them in his speeches…..but totally stabs them in the back with his actions and foreign policies. If Obama wins the election he probably won’t even pretend to be pro-Israel any more, and even if he’s still giving them lip service I don’t believe he will come to their aid even if we are screaming at him to do so.

Babylon coming back into existence at it’s original spot…Iraq.

The things that aren’t in line could come in line in a matter of a few years. It’s hard telling, but wars happen suddenly.

Thanks, Grace….or 12grace if that’s not actually your name and is being used for good will, lol.

This only shows the direct income taxes, there are other indirect taxes including the corporate income tax which are not included in this. We all pay roughly 20% of all we spend in order to pay the corporate income tax.
